For doing the fur, you could either make a fur roller like you have for scales, or try using a piece of scrunched up aluminum to scratch the surface in one direction.
DK's face is absolutely priceless! Though I can't unsee the fact that the big man is missing a toe on each of his feet, or I guess it'd be better to say missing a finger on each of his leg hands lol

Aluminium is actually the correct way to say and spell it. It was always intended to have an -ium at the end like most other elements. It's really only a typo that went viral that lead to people saying "aluminum."

Video idea: in the 90s animated Spider-Man cartoon there’s an episode where Peter turns into a giant spider with a human head. That was something that truly truly traumatised me when I was younger. Would be really cool to see you do something so haunting 😂😂

For making Fur texture on clay, try making a roller like you have for scales and warts

King K. Rool's Scales aren't super hyperrealistic, so you don't have to worry!
Have you considered using Millinery Wire for your frames? It's a lot thinner than most wires, but much sturdier.
