I've watched Liverpool in recent games, and I'm lost as to why they play as spoilt kids especially in the first halves. Too casual as if they've got 24hrs to the end of 90 minutes! And they step out of the dressing room with a goal down already because they always concede first. That's no champions stuff. It's over 💯%.

Gakpo looked great coming on; Jota is back. There are positives for the end of this season, but it's fallen apart too soon, really. Never mind. A great effort, all things considered. Apart from the misery of missing out on the league title again, the sad thing is that Klopp's farewell won't have that festive atmosphere any more. Of course fans will be grateful for what he's done, but there's that feeling of having underachieved in the last few years.
For me, the turning point was the injury of Jota - he was our best striker before that nasty foul in the Brentford game. And not having Trent or Roberston for a long time didn't help either.

we have just gone back to how we started the season, the way Klopp and Lijnders aimed for us to play. It is a tactical choice nothing to do with tired legs as most of them are fresh back from injury. We have gone from a team mixed with kids playing high octane football to a team back playing how the coaching staff set us up to play and it has been just as poor as it was early. The only difference is that we are no longer rescuing abysmal performances with a late rescue act

I think i went through all the anger stages over the 3 most annoying united games. The Atlanta one got me shocked and today, am no longer know how am feeling. This season, regardless of what var and ref's did to us,we had the chance in our hand and gave that away. Just when i thought, we will get better cuz of the injury boost, it jst become chaos. I dare to say that this is the moment we needed the type of players like Mane and Firmino not taking away anything from our current squad but oh my how i wish we had Mane this season. You find alot of these opportunities if they were taken, they would have transformed the dynamics of the game, at a particular moment, coming from a losing position to a win or just cealing a win, like the United FA Cup match. Some of these chances forwards like Haaland, Izak or Watkins bury with regularity. However, it is a question of whether they can improve, especially mentally, prompty before their chances in the league vanishes.

However I think the forwards were trying to do too much to score as all they needed to do is to place the ball in the opposite side of the keeper and at times the defender. Jones Darwin and Mohamed got the easiest of goals this evening. However we go again.
