So its a watch pocket. And I don't carry anything in that pocket because I am reserving it for when pocket watches come back in style.
I carry my Chap Stick, my Fischer Space Pen, and my Mini Bic Lighter in my "Small Shit Pocket"...I love that it fits all three of these things perfectly...I started doing so about 2 weeks after watching your show, trying to figure out where to carry these smaller things... :)
Coin pocket, mini pocket. I used to carry my keyfob face out in it. No need to dig it out to unlock/lock just press the button through your jeans. Also a bonus for keeping the fob separate from the key is when someone needs to grab something from your truck/car you hand them the fob and they can't drive it around (my friends like to change parking spots)
Normally i keep my grandmother's gold wedding band as she gave it to me for safe keepingand has been on my person for 8+ years, as well as a ring i have made on my own out of carbon fiber. It sucks and looks horrible but it is a constant reminder that i can always improve. I dont wear it ofter because it tends to get removed when i work inside of small places or heavy lifting. I also keep a spare house key in case i get locked out of my house and dont have my full set on me ( it has happened numerous times now) that pocket should be reserved for the most sentimental of items that you would keep on you at all times. Personal pocket i would call it. As i carry only essentials in the other
I personally wear slacks for work so I don't get to use this pocket most of the time, but I can't think of a time I've ever carried (or felt the need to carry) anything in it. Putting anything in there usually makes it too hard to get to anything in the main pocket. So I think it should be called the "Notch" pocket. The notch name fits the size of the pocket, but I originally thought of it by squishing together "not watch" so it works both ways!
I keep a small emergency kit in that pocket. It has daily survival items like needle and thread, crazy glue, tape, matches, coins, meds, etc. It's in an Alroids-like tin that my wife bought at the merch table at an Elliott BROOD concert, my favorite band. It fits perfectly in the pocket-formerly-known-as-a-watch-pocket. The tin would otherwise rattle around in my pocket and pop open. The pocket-formerly-known-as-a-watch-pocket holds the tin closed, in place and is a nice reminder of a great night out with my wife.
It's the small storage above the big storage... sounds like "The Attic" to me. I keep a black mini bic and blistex in mine. Occasionally a challenge coin or small knife find there way into the attic as well. Love your channel. It's making me step up my EDC game!
I actually wear 5.11 defender flex jeans which have an oversized security pocket (better then a “watch pocket” because it’s a bit deeper). I keep my Small Sebenza 21 and my Olight s1 baton (original version). I like that it separates things from the main pocket so I can keep that clear for other things. Check out the jeans too! They have two extra pockets aside from the traditional 5 that most jeans have and the denim looks very nice. The two pockets are designed to hold extra handgun or AR magazines but I use them for some minor first aid and also a wallet. It keeps the from of my pants looking less bulky overall. Keep up your great work!
I carry Tylenol in my 5th pocket for all the arguing over what that damn thing is called.....can we call it the "you" pocket, because just like everyone's EDC it's different....so do "you"

That pocket is best used to carry dryer lint and whatever you want to put in the "mini breath mint" metal tin that fits if you have cleaned out some of the lint first. Therefore, it is called a "whatever" pocket.

I carry a Victorinox Cadet Swiss Army Knife in that little pocket on the rare occasions I’m wearing jeans. I think it should be called the sheath pocket as you can put things like SAKs in there and easily be able to grip the top of them to pull them out as they protrude slightly
The "Stash" pocket carry my Ford flip key/remote. I am in and out of my truck several times a day and once, by accident I shoved my single key ito the stash pocket and I liked it, done.
It is called the contraband pocket majority of the time when conducting clothed pat down searches you will always find contraband. I have found cuff keys inside this pocket. So it should be called the contraband pocket. I use this pocket to carry my challenge coin and the A5 Aurora flashlight. Love your show, keep up the good work Sir.

I call it the “other” pocket because that’s what my dad called it. I keep my Kershaw Cinder (LOVE THAT KNIFE!) and a Leatherman Micra in mine, just to keep them extra handy.
I carry some sort of small item in the fifth pocket such as a small light, utility blade, or nick knack. For me it’s a keeper pocket. Whatever I put in there I want kept separate and easily accessible.
The fifth pocket is a lighter pocket. I've carried a lighter in that pocket for about 20 years now. The comment you made about once you start edcing a flashlight you will understand why people do it is spot on. I have carried one for years (currently an OLIGHT S1ABatton.) my son is 12 and recently started carrying A maglight solitare. He may not have anything else in his pockets but he will have that light every time you see him.
It is a condom, loose quarters for parking meters, tic tac or small mint container, of what ever other random stuff you can find to fit in the pocket haha depending on what size the pocket it is depending on the pants. I hadn’t heard it called a swatch pocket until you said it. Makes sense I guess I have owned pocket watches before and would never put them there.
I carry a Olight H1R Nova, a mini BIC and a Chapstick in my "carry it all pocket". And as a second entry I carry my dignity there, and the name of the pocket is :"it's gone". :) Keep it up.

I currently carry a mini Altoids tin with mints in it because you gotta stay fresh and also some Burts Bees cause my wife says I need it lol. We should call it a keeper pocket it since whatever is in that pocket is less likely to fall out or get lost compared to other pockets. Take good care!!

I carry my slidewinder, victorinox super tinkerer, flashlight and pocket watch that my grandfather gave me all at different times. I do call it a watch or 5th pocket at times but i would call it my small stuff i don't want getting lost in my larger pockets pocket.

It should just be called the 5th pocket. If you give it a number instead of a designation then it keeps everyone happy... I use the 5th for my streamlight microstream or olight i3t. It's the perfect size and keeps my left pocket clear of obstruction when reaching in.

I cary either chapstick or the TPT in the mystery pocket. As to what it should be called, I believe it should be called the hitch hiker. Why? Well what ever you put in the pocket is along for the ride and that pocket is usually not its final resting place!

I usually swap the content of my EDC pocket between a SAK, zippo or back on college a usb flash drive (software engineering major). Therefore EDC pocket makes sense to me
1)I call it my “thumb” pocket because that usually where I place my thumb to hang out when I’m trying to act casual. 2)I place candy or coins in that pocket at times so my 3yr old can find when I get home from work. She likes checking all 5 of my pockets including my “THUMB” pocket.

Maybe do an EDC bag weekly along with EDC weekly, I have multiple EDC versions for me because I have one for work, casual, and extended and then my bag, I would love to show off all of them at some point.
My puny pocket generally has a utility knife in it. We should call it the puny pocket because after you drop some coins in it you feel like the hulk trying to pinch them back out.
I personally use the COIN POCKET for carrying spare change, and sometimes I put my fisher space pen bullet inside of it. Honestly I have only ever known it as a coin pocket, so that’s what I believe it should be called.

I actually like "5th Pocket", keeps it simple. I carry a Popov Leather Edc pocket Armor with my Swiss Army Pioneer Alox, and a Space Pen Bullet in mine.
I either have a zippo, a crkt squid, or Gerber dime in my "what can I fit in there" pocket. Just depends on what I'm into that day. And I grew up being told it's a coin pocket.
I think it’s just the 5th pocket. Everyone carries different things in it. So no point in trying to assign a specific name by what is carried in it. I usually carry an Olight S1R Baton and Leatherman Juice S2.
I keep a pair of nitrile gloves, because I always forget to grab some from the truck. Plus it keeps in more sanitary the the rest of my pocket’s pocket grime. I call it my hand condom pocket.

The only things that I carry in that pocket are things that I accidentally stuff in there because it's a "Fake Out Pocket!" Its only purpose is to confuse you when you try to put things in your normal pocket by feel.

I tuck my key fob in it when I clip it to my belt loop or throw coins in it. I usually refer to it as the little pocket or the crap stash
AUXILIARY POCKET, I carry my extra battery for my LG V20 which fits perfectly or my challenge coin, So remember AUXILIARY POCKET....!
I use the “CCW pocket” to carry my NAA 22mag mini revolver, as it fits perfectly. If my firearm isn’t in there nothing is.

It should just be called the 5th pocket. If you give it a number instead of a designation then it keeps everyone happy... I use the 5th for my streamlight microstream or olight i3t. It's the perfect size and keeps my left pocket clear of obstruction when reaching in.
I don't currently carry anything in that pocket, but in the past I've used it for challenge coins, loose change, and the occasional tech dongle. I say it should be called the coin pocket, as I suspect that's the most common use, when people even remember that it's there.
I cary either chapstick or the TPT in the mystery pocket.
As to what it should be called, I believe it should be called the hitch hiker. Why? Well what ever you put in the pocket is along for the ride and that pocket is usually not its final resting place!
Catch all pocket lol. I carry a Kershaw shuffle 2 and a small Altoids tin with a first aid kit inside it.

I hate shit on my wrist and handkerchiefs made a comeback so be mindful for the EDC community is an ever changing rotation of usable jewelry. I call it in my mind... "EDC pocket" for sure.
I usually swap the content of my EDC pocket between a SAK, zippo or back on college a usb flash drive (software engineering major). Therefore EDC pocket makes sense to me
I carry my custom fitted ear plugs for work in that pocket. I've always called it the little pocket or mini pocket.
1. Spare change and a gerber dime
2. Coin pocket. Minimalist wallets aren't that friendly to coins and they don't jiggle when they're in there.
A good name would probably be the utility pocket. I keep my car's key fob in there so it isn't bumping into my phone and my pockets can stay flush
1)I call it my “thumb” pocket because that usually where I place my thumb to hang out when I’m trying to act casual.
2)I place candy or coins in that pocket at times so my 3yr old can find when I get home from work. She likes checking all 5 of my pockets including my “THUMB” pocket.
In my 5th pocket I carry my Gerber dime. What we should be calling it is a change pocket because if you put loose change in their it's less noisey.
I keep my great grandpas zippo he got from bell helicopter. Let's call it the BAM pocket..bad ass material pocket because every one keeps something different or unique in it

Maybe do an EDC bag weekly along with EDC weekly, I have multiple EDC versions for me because I have one for work, casual, and extended and then my bag, I would love to show off all of them at some point.

My puny pocket generally has a utility knife in it.
We should call it the puny pocket because after you drop some coins in it you feel like the hulk trying to pinch them back out.
Currently I carry a slim zippo lighter but I’m going to replace it with a Bigideas TPT. I would call the 5th pocket a SAP (small ass pocket) ;)
I always keep a guitar pick in that mini pocket. As a guitarist, you never know when the sudden need go impersonate Bill and Ted comes along...
I personally use the COIN POCKET for carrying spare change, and sometimes I put my fisher space pen bullet inside of it. Honestly I have only ever known it as a coin pocket, so that’s what I believe it should be called.
I usually carry some sort of small backup knife in it. I feel like we can ALL agree to call it a "fifth pocket"

I actually like "5th Pocket", keeps it simple. I carry a Popov Leather Edc pocket Armor with my Swiss Army Pioneer Alox, and a Space Pen Bullet in mine.
I tend to carry my fisher space bullet pen and my Leatherman skeletool, I think we should call it "nature's pocket" for giggles.
“The Throb Pocket” - contains my Spyderco Brouwer with mini lanyard and pocket clip removed.

I think it’s just the 5th pocket. Everyone carries different things in it. So no point in trying to assign a specific name by what is carried in it. I usually carry an Olight S1R Baton and Leatherman Juice S2.
I carry my copper olight s1r batton and it should be called the light pocket. Perfect for flash lights or lighters.
I keep a pair of nitrile gloves, because I always forget to grab some from the truck. Plus it keeps in more sanitary the the rest of my pocket’s pocket grime. I call it my hand condom pocket.

Coin pocket and I always carry my edc light in it currently the i3t EOS it keeps it away from my knife allowing me access that pocket easier and prevents scratches and what not

Me I used it to carry my pocket wath, back when I used one. But now I use it to carry my multi-tool, since it fit perfectly in here.

I put my ring in it if I need to take it off during the day. We should just call it the extra pocket or the multiuse pocket because everyone will use it for something else.

Dude I have been sending you my edc that has a custom made fixed blade knife my uncle made. It isnt fancy but there is nothing better than custom family made items.
I know I am super late but my 5th pocket is where I keep my full sized brass knuckles, solid pound of brass. Props for Ariat having that pocket oversized on their Rebar jeans. So yeah fight me.
The only things that I carry in that pocket are things that I accidentally stuff in there because it's a "Fake Out Pocket!" Its only purpose is to confuse you when you try to put things in your normal pocket by feel.
