Update on this. Machine was making a really bad noise this morning that sounded like a metal fan hitting against something. This turned out to be the fact I hadn't pulled the drain hose out all the way...it must have just been catching on the spinning mechanism.
You don't have to wring your clothes before putting in spin dryer put them in sopping wet and let the machine do the work for you. Also more water so clothes float above agitator will wash better and make machine last longer.
You have to add the softner in final rinse

I think there a good investment really. I hate going to launderettes personally. Especially the outdoor ones in a garage forecourt !
Just purchased one of these. Seems to work fairly well all things considered. Is there not a lint filter? I cannot locate one if there is.
