Basically armour peeler got nerfed (not to the ground but it's still good) since it literally takes no skill to use and GoF got an (almost) direct upgrade since it gained 1500 more muzzle velocity. Now bear with me, as I am a recon main, I don't really like using armour peeler since I like actually aiming not just point and clicking. My main problem with the dmr is that it has no area control. And GoF has no muzzle velocity and with this update even tho armour peeler is nerfed GoF becomes a direct upgrade from the base dmr.
@@Nei-Kaspeak for yourself, I only used armour peeler to take out platform for team. Guess I finally have reason no one be mad at me for GoF
@@DrYeetson both weapons are good but in very different situations, I'm just happy I'll see an underused weapon be used outside of epilogue and with the buff that it deserved maybe it will make recon way harder to play and make the late game fights more skill based. Either way, I still think that armour peeler will still be used due to its sheer power to output damage and the ability to take down mechanized units

Gaia’s escorts are no longer perfectly in formation most of the time, like gunners getting left behind while firing their minigun, same as Achilles’s shield drone not being perfectly above him. Thats what i noticed

As a scout who mains double axes + aero, this affected me only a tiny wee bit.
Also, I still wonder to this day why not many people use double axes, it's OP (each axe insta kill when thrown plus it HEALS, and also doesn't take ammo at all)

Also you can get modified wave at wave 1
RPG upgrades were never overshadowed by AP so wdym. Nobody go out of their way to buy AP just for mechs except Recon for obvious reasons, but that's just Recon, every other classes get RPG and its upgrades.
as a solo player, i hate the fact that the tank spawn with the boss

Bro, I was playing against Gaia and her cattle, then the game decided to update making all my progress go to zero (I had a jatpack with an upgrade)
I kinda dont like the new turret for chassis but it was kinda broken just shooting ppl constantly with turrets
Chow strat patched, gaia nerfed, and recon vaporized. Now its a spawn camping/waiting sim. DvN is cooked.
Cloakers still give me ptsd... Yet i still play because DvN is always fun

Not only that, but most of the buffs favour Engineer Gaming
Rocket stormer is peak cuz u can direct the rockets to a designated place while shockwave is just DPS tho rocket stormer is still peak

Tbh i feel like this update was realy not needed i like the chassis changes but armor peeler feels a waste now and gift off fire is worse off recon is now a realy bad class
The wave changes felt mid to say the least also is it me or do i hate that bosses spawn in the first seconds off the wave it messes up the build up off the ost off the boss

i disagree. Now armor is actually armor. On the part about bosses though I get it. chassis changes are good and aerorig nerfs finally
gift of fire really wasn't needed to be nerfed though. Armor peeler nerf was a long time coming though, now there's a point in buying an RPG.

@@Xciozen I can play fairly well with and without recon and yeah I overexeggerated it, but the sniper nerfs are still really bad and it feels like bawak just hates the class...

The one time we get an update, and they have somehow nerfed the 2 weapons that didn't need a nerf ESPECIALLY GoF (no one uses this so now people are DEFINITELY not gonna use this) and armour peeler is basically useless. So essentially they've completely nerfed sniper to the fucking ground, they didn't even reduce the amount of ammo needed per reload so now you need MORE bullets, meaning more likely to be out of ammo.
The combat toolkit and proxy are nice buffs but they still haven't buffed turrets...and why isn't shockwave device infininite range when armour peeler is?
Overall, they made snipers/recon useless, engis got a buff but turrets still need a buff and no one still uses Gift of Fire, GREAT UPDATE!

Ehhh, Bawak made this update not sensei, and I'm a MADS enjoyer and I know others is as well so I don't really upgrade ammo box that much :P

Absolutely horrible takes. Turrets are already good as hell if placed right. And GoF got mostly a buff, not a nerf. AP got nerfed against Mech, but it's only against Mech; it's still an absolute shreder against normal enemies and bosses.
@@Xciozen Turrets need a damage buff and they need to heavily reduce the cooldown of turret death (usually from tanks since they focus turrets). I'm talking from the perspective of someone who tried to make engi work but it just sucks ahh (again, this is coming from someone who knows good turret placement and correct upgrade paths which is crucial for engis)
@@Xciozen With snipers, no one uses GoF and now NO ONE will us GoF, armour peeler main shtick IS to be effective against, you take that away and you got a slightly upgrade sniper, at this point what's the point of playing recon besides teles? RPG are wayyy cheaper and shockwave device got a buff, recon are down in the dumps right now which was not needed at all.

I'm a recon main with GOF and I'm perfectly fine with the nerfs, never really used to burn the tanks with fire and I usually noscope since I enjoy CQB so fire isn't real big for me but it's good. Armor Peeler definitely needed a nerf at some point, at least to 500 though, platforms suck to fight and same with tanks with AP.

the "spawning system" isn't brand new, its the old spawning system. and subwaves aren't "removed" they are just rather hidden now.
Old wave system would spawn all the enemies at once tho and this one doesn't

@@Bloxxerz-qv2dk not really since most bosses were really outdated and easy and in the older times there weren't even units like platform gunner, jetpacker or sniper and the biggest threat were tanks and mechs

The new wave system in game is so BAD. Makes playing much harder and you could probably just get insta killed before you even know what spawns.
