Hate that MOST You Tubers refuse to bring in their cameras 🎥 that close. They say this is as much as it zooms in 🙄 that I only believe from small ones since they might not have the $ to buy good cameras but the big influencers whatever !!
Not to be mean or anything but I definitely think its like that because of the lighter skin tone i use this same foundation and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it this is really the only foundation i have been using since i discovered it
Danielle The Doll yes no harm what so ever and im in the shade 200 kenya and i literally love it !! I tried using my ilmakiage again which is also a bomb foundation but i always go back to juvias
I have not seen so many close ups in similar videos! This seems to be a truly honest review showing things exactly as they are. Keep up the good work!
Things i noticed after wearing it a month
1. It oxidises
2. It breaks up after a few hrs and seperates in a weird way
3. It looks cakey after awhile.
I was sooo bummed .it looks GORGEOUS at first. Im wondering if it is different with the setting powder they just released out. PLEASE REVIEW THE CONCEALER AND SETTING POWDER WITH IT

Yes! I noticed how bad the oxidisation was straight away but nobody is talking about it! It's great coverage but I go from my shade to orange in 60 seconds. 🙄

Mine was caked and crap after 2 min even with a good primer
I just bought this from Ulta and received it today. I'm super anxious to try it! I have oily skin too, but I'm hoping my skin holds up a bit better than yours did! LOL I'm used to a bit of separation after the 8 hours mark. But not many people get that close up to your face to see any cakeyness. I think it looks good on you from a distance. You can hardly see any problems.
What I love about you is not only are your reviews super helpful but we're also foundation shade twins! So I never have to stand there awkwardly holding foundations up to my face, you save me so much time!

I considered trying the Juvia's Placee foundation but I also have very oily skin. Most foundations beak up on my skin after a few hours. I had that problem with the Fenty foundation even though it's a thin formula. My favourite foundation now is Dior Backstage Face & Body. That foundation wears so well- it still looks fresh after 15 hours of wear. Even after blotting 3-4 times a day, the Dior foundation remains looking flawless.

I have a very similar skin type to you, so all your review s are so helpful, especially as I live in a very hot humid climate, (with oily skin :-( ). I would love you to review the Dior Forever foundation, as I have heard that it also has skin benefits and SPF, (which usually plays havoc with my skin). Thanks x

Thank you for being honest. I bought it after some other influencers spectacular reviews, and hated it. It was nasty/cakey half way through the day for me.
Juvia’s Place is black owned brand so the lower numbered shades are darker and the higher numbers are lighter. Basically the opposite of all other brands. Beauty Bakerie does the same too.
I was going to tell her this buuuut just wanted to check if so one else had first 😊👍🏻I don't think she knew this right??? Based on the comment on the shade number confusing... Love her reviews the most❤️❤️❤️ #nikkiajoy

Can you do an oily girls makeup tutorial for one hellllla sweaty day? Do you ever recommend powder foundations on real sweaty days? I am going an outdoor baby shower and it’s gonna be in the mid 90’s Fahrenheit. I’m oily and I have a condition called facial hyperhidrosis (basically I do not sweat from my armpits! I sweat from my face and head!) 😢

Ruth L possibly! But she lives in that town and says she is used to the heat. But me.... I’m a big ass baby when it comes to heat and I have social anxiety because of my sweating condition. I’m constantly worried people are judging me and it’s awful to profusely sweat like someone dumped water on your head. And the more I worry about it the worse I swear! 😢
Im oily and get sweaty and hot easily (hormonal issues) and I never know if it’s best to do liquid foundation set with powder or just concealer and powder foundation

Have you tried the Huda setting spray yet? The smell is a bit much but it is seriously like hair spray for your face. Might not be the best for the skin but if you do have a day where you need your makeup to last allllll day it works like nothing I’ve ever tried. I’m usually oily within 2 hours no matter what primer or foundation I use but not when I use that stuff.

You will love it. I did try everything out there high end and drug store. Hers is the best. It keeps you Matt at the beginning and as the day go, it hydrated you and leaves this glow finish. I have no clue how she did it.
The only problem is the shipping. It takes a while. I hope she can get into Sephora or ulta. This woman is talented

I LOVE this foundation....as a concealer for my cheeks (rosacea). It caked on my skin too especially my chin.

@Tami Ibarra Please try a website called findation.com. It will send you your foundation matches for other products if you know your perfect match in one. I also like to follow you tubers who have the same shade as me and that helps guide me. Nothing beats trying the foundation on yourself under natural light though.
Which one would you prefer..the Juvias or the Maybeline 24hour Stay foundation? They are both thick foundations.

I used an oil, and lasted for 12 hours on my oily skin 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 The Farsali Gold, White bottle, But my texture didn’t come through at all thanks for your review though 🥰
I had the same experience. I’m not too oily, but I did notice it kept my oils more controlled than usual. But it broke apart in chin and nose, also seemed to rub off easily in areas that I pressed on.
This is my first time using full coverage with Juvia's Place and I appreciate the fact that you're honest about this happening with a lot of fill full coverage foundation.

Hi Nikkia,,that same thing happened to my skin,,but next time I use the foundation I mix it with Infalliable pro-matte 24 hour foundation from Loreal,,waoooo love it,,looks amazing on my skin and stays looking matte and flawless,,try it !

Nikkia what is ur ABSOLUTE go to full coverage foundation? Ive been using Mac studio fix for decades and thought id try something new but can not find anything as good.
You need to try the Peach Perfect foundation mixed with L’Oréal Infallible Matte foundation! I have extremely oily skin like you and will get oily 2 hours after applying my foundation and this combination is the holy grail for me for stopping oils! Even when my oils come through the foundation still looks great.
That happened the first time that I used the foundation when I used it with the porefessional primer and I moved a lot which is a more “velvety” primer but when I used it with a more liquidity primer It didn’t happen .You should try it with another primer.Love your videos.

Have you tried your powder with it to see how well it holds up with this foundation?!?! I’m sure you have by now and without a doubt your setting powder probably made a huge impact on the wear time, just from visual proof from previous videos, your powder would’ve kept that cake at bay much, much, much longer!

Hi Nikkia! Yes, girl! I miss your foundation reviews! It feels like it's been ages ago since I watched your latest one. I have a question for you though. I am pretty sure you travel quite a bit. So can you make a video on how to pack make up when you go on vacation (no business meetings or professional activities whatsoever)? And if you know you will be on the road for 30-36 hours between plane rides, airport layovers, etc, how would you approach putting on make up on your traveling day; would you rather go light coverage, and touch up on the go, or would you rather go full coverage and do whatever you can to make it last? And what make up items would you have with you in your carry-on bag? As an oily skin type, I am not comfortable going out traveling without make up on, but at the same time, if I have to travel that long, I feel like I would look like a mess because my make up would start melting off my face. Does that make sense? Any tips? Thanks! :)

I feel this review is perfect I actually had the same thing with my chin, but everything stayed flawless through my 10 hour day. I have dry skin with rosacea.

I am so sooo happy to find your videos!! I have such oily skin which varies with my cycle and everyone on FB has dry skin. Fenty gets oily on my skin 😟 so I've been waiting to see a good review I can trust.
How about with blotting the oils with blotting paper? Does it perform any better than touching up with the beauty blender?

Yes but something you can do to help your skin get less oily is by hyrdating it or putting a oil on it before makeup if you use nothing but matte products or oil free your bound to produce so much oil but if you hydrate your skin will produce less oil
& yes i do have oily skin ive been using the elemis smoothing oil it makes my face really smooth and also noticed a big difference that my skin has been getting less oily

I get that same weird speckled texture on my chin and upper lip with the EL Double Wear but with that one, it can't be fixed...I'm okay with touching my face up a few times throughout the day, so I'm gonna give the Juvia's Place foundation a try!
