Even though we no longer get the Land Cruiser (I really hope that changes soon), good to see that this legendary design can still go off road like all Toyota products......like a champ!!
@@MarkFromHTX Honda stopped the dual screen mess back in 2017 or 2018. This LX interior is a super afterthought, which is unfortunate (and totally uncompetitive) to see for a vehicle that basically starts at $100k
I have a 2023 GX with the Dunlop's. It feels like I'm driving on samd, like the tires are soft. While driving, I need to keep counter steering, as vehicle seems like it wandering all over. Is this the tires? It's done this from day 1, and now 5k mile. Thinking of swapping out for a set of Michelin defenders. Any insights from anyone? Thx!
For 100k we get a Range Rover velar in India, i.e. only the showroom price. This particular lx 600 will cost around 350k $ equivalent, see We are so RICH 🥴🥴.
@@kamilb8232 Lol. A friend of mine dropped 65k on a jeep Rubicon. She wanted to get into offroading. She had it about a month and asked me to take her on some trails. Got back to the trailhead and it got a "pinstripe " from a bush. She freaked out...and never went offroad again.
The thumb thing is real. If you hit a rut or something and the steering wheel jerks in a certain direction the spokes could break your thumbs.
As a lx570 owner, all you needed to do is lock the diff and 4h would work easy too. Probably can do all this in all auto too.
Beautiful Landcruiser! Off-road king 👑
The fun is doing the video from the outside and see the car handling the terrain
my own test drive experience - very cramped inside, ride comfort not as plush and smooth as the old LX or new Range Rover.

no such thing as stuck with an LX. you could've come to a complete stop midway up the rocks and then continue perfectly fine. Fine machine
Dual screens? Didn't Honda already screw up with that?
Since when Honda tried to make dual screens??
@@MarkFromHTX 9th gen Civic and Accord, but the second screen weren’t touch screens
@@bleachbottle6700 Ohh. I did not know that
@@bleachbottle6700 also with Acura for some models.

Thanks for no music. I could even hear the engine.
So the $100k Lexus Land Cruiser comes with the same crap Dunlop tires as my 4Runner did? Insane. Come on, Toyota.

6:10 alright Beyonce 💁🏿
Thumb thing is so you don’t break your thumbs if the wheel yanks to one side and snaps your thumb when it’s caught in the spokes
Seriously, Lexus needs to step their interior game up.
How did they manage to still make this thing look so outdated? Design is not one with this one.
Seriously. At the very least they could've taken the 3 year old interior from the LS. But no, it's worse.
it's shortcomings would be more forgivable if it wasn't so overpriced, in my opinion... it's a $75k-80k SUV, tops
@@sly9263 This is a bargain if you consider that the '21 Land Cruiser base model started at $85k.
@@MikeKayK the land cruiser was overpriced too... which is why it sold poorly here in the US and is now gone for us
@sly9263 the lc300? It's a high demand car here in SEA, and resellers are selling it for 50% up the retail price
I enjoyed 10/10
No one’s done a 2022 Toyota Tundra night drive pov could you do one?
You should've had a buddy recording the outside
Even though I have my sights set on the refreshed 2023 G Wagon, I thoroughly enjoyed this video substitute T!
Great video! Any chance of you driving the new Lamborghini Countach remake? Pretty please!
Why get a g wagon when you can get a lx 600
Does it have hydraulic suspension like the previous model?
Love the truck but the interior seemed outdated at launch
Welldone
Camera quality is so bad for such an expensive car
Holy shit that interior looks hideous
Says the old Hyundai owner clown 🤣
Don't go to water to much it can make the power steering wheel so hard
Rear legroom is still an issue like with just about all Toyota built SUV's
That infotainment center looks terrible. Why not make it look classy Lexus?
А бездорожье где ?
That dual screen setup in one of the worst designs I have ever seen especially in a $100m vehicle.
How does one work for these events. Would be down to see lots of people crawling around.
Not exactly offroad when this course could be easily driven through in any FWD hatchback on road tires without breaking a sweat.
Yes, every off-road course designed for journalists is pre-tested by a grandma in a 1995 Toyota Camry LE.
That ain't a offroad bro haha. That's just a non flat surface
Looks like a fine course

No one buying this is going off-road lol. Better to test at a Walmart parking lot.
In middle east they do
Or Starbucks or a yoga studio
Nobody buying new is doing offroading. But once they are 20 years old and on their 2nd or third owner, everyone will.

@@weirdshibainu that sounds about right. My friend was the same way not knowing off-roading was a rough and dirty thing. Bless her.
