Nice idea, maybe one where we discuss what happens if CJ never returned to Grove Street?

@@SebaInit no problem. Something in my mind remembered the scene cj stopped his brother from doing dope and I just feel without cj the whole gang would've devolved faster

Victor Vance would probably still be alive.

Interesting video but I’d like to point out my opinions: Lance would never betray Vic, that seems to me like the type of thing a person that sees things solely from Tommy’s perspective would say, and while Lance was revealed to be a major fuck-up in his life as in VCS, Lance adored his brother, and if he was involved he wouldn’t have attacked Diaz nor would he have got as angry as he did. If you think Tommy was the sole victim in the story of the betrayal by Sonny and that Tommy treated Lance well enough then fair enough but I disagree - Tommy treats everyone in the story, apart from a few select characters who have power with respect. He’s a psychopath. Lance was wrong to betray Tommy, yet Tommy was wrong to think he was above everyone and was this big all-powerful mob boss. He was arrogant and condescending. Additionally Lance hasn’t betrayed Diaz at all - it is the exact opposite. There is no evidence Lance betrayed Vic as he did with Tommy, but believe me if evidence got out that he did, I would not ever defend Lance. I like him as a character and I can sympathise with him. Also, Lance and Vic were in Panama for two years and likely returned shortly before the deal so Lance squealing to Diaz is unlikely, it was Gonzales’ fault. VCS makes it clear. You’re right about the nature of the Vances’ relationship being unclear but VCS’ ending shows that Vic forgave Lance and still had enough love for him to live with him in Panama, so there is that. As for him sounding Colombian, the VC rewrite fanfic suggests that Lance and Vic agreed to return to VC as Colombians to deviate suspicion. I think Vic was happy in the deal because the deal was bound to set him and his family up for life which made him happy. Also I doubt Vic wanted to return to his position of power, he just wanted the money. He’s not a power hungry criminal like Tommy, Diaz and Sonny or a reputation seeker like his brother or Diaz or Tommy. Lastly I think Tommy cut ties with the Forellis, and did not stop being a mobster altogether. His organisation resembles a Mafia syndicate

The theory about Lance's betrayal of Vic that I referred to in the video indeed has no evidence, but there are a couple of tings that make it realistic. First of all, the pattern that Lance been following, startin with Vic and ending on Sonny. It goes like dis: first he finds himself a business partner, then he acts incompetent and gets angry for the other person for patronisin him and not considerin him as an equal partner, then he finds himself another candidate for a business partner and betrays the old one to go and work wid the new one. And then the pattern repeats. Accordin to dis theory, Lance dun it first with Vic, then with Diaz, then with Tommy and then he'd do it with Sonny but he died before he even could get angry at Sonny for patronisin him (altho Sonny would probly kill him anyway) Anyway, the second reason is that Lance pretty suspiciously stays in the heli as if he knew what's about to go down. And the last one is Diaz sayin to Lance in VCS that he once killed his brother, which could sort of inspire Lance later. Especially that his next target was Diaz so he would kill Vic to impress Diaz, similarly to what he dun later with Tommy when he tried to cap Diaz to impress Tommy. Yes ur right, Lance adored his brother in VCS but at sum point he may have let the sentiment go and focus on business, which he also kind of applied with Tommy later by betrayin him. So like yeah dis theory is pretty wild, it's unconfirmed, but it has good enough reasonin for me to consider it at least realistic, and that's why I mentioned it in the video

@@SebaInit okay fair enough. First time I’m hearing about it tho and I don’t really believe it because while Lance does betray Tommy that’s about it and he doesn’t seem like that type of a person, to betray and kill his own brother, and even if he was inspired by Diaz, he felt legitimate rage at him for orchestrating his brother’s death, showing Diaz’ influence on Lance was all but gone
