Hey Treg, Glad you had a good trip. So... thats me and greentent there at Dads lake. I just got outa Beartooths, Beaten Path. Another magnificent place to hike.
That's awesome! I'm glad you found my page! You were so kind to share that spot with us. I really enjoyed your company. Hopefully we can meet up back on the trail someday!
Unrelated to the video, but how’s Utah as a non Mormon? I’m half black, love to be outdoors mostly, I don’t really care about drinking all the time or having the nicest place. Just wanna be close to the mountains but also don’t wanna get treated like a second class citizen.
Utah is great for everyone! I haven't been a part of the church for 10 years now. I was worried about moving here as well but everyone is very open and kind! Utah is actual more diverse that everyone thinks, especially in SLC. If you want to have close access to amazing nature I highly recommend it!!
@@TregsTravels Great video btw. You inspired me to get a soft topper a few months ago and camp more. Best money I’ve spent in a while haha. But yeah something is drawing me to Utah over Colorado. I think it’s the more conservative and family oriented vibe, lower crime, closer to the mountains.
@@samfisher320glad to hear you like the sofTopper! I love mine! Colorado is gorgeous too, the only thing I don't like about Colorado is the traffic patterns. Seems like everytime we would head up into the mountains we would get stuck in traffic for hours. Utah and Idaho are definitely more low key and family oriented if that's what you're looking for!

Thanks buddy! You could have definitely done it. Everything is a lot harder with a 50lb pack on your back!
i definitely would have attempted it though, those views were amazing.@@TregsTravels
