Looks and sounds great. It would be nice to see the 0 -60 and 1/4 mile comparisons of the bone stock and the modded cars. Lastly, what is the cost of this package including the installation.
I will say that when driving/comparing the new C8 Z06 to the C7 Z06…. I was immediately surprised by the lack of low end torque of the new Z06, and the torque number in general. I realize that if you keep the C8Z north of 5,000rpms that you are in the power band. And GM had to turn it up to 8,600rpms to get the 670hp. How long will that high rev’ing production built race motor last? I’ll wait for the new ZR1 that has return of low end torque and tops out at 7,000 rpm’s. 1,064hp stock, with a full warranty isn’t bad.
LT7's peak HP is at 7000rpm, but redline is at 8000rpm, with 24psi of boost on the internals. I wouldn't expect better durability than the LT6, but tbh I'm not concerned about the durability of either engine.
My only concern is the warranty issues with the cat's and the TB porting. Any CELs with those cats? 200 or 400 cell? Can I purchase them and install down here in FL?
Great job, guys. I one guestion for you. Have you done a ZO6 with this pkg and the new Kooks headers. Im wondering if they are an HP maker on a stock Z and on your pkg Thank you. 👍👍
Steven, I have a question ?. When will LME start releasing LT6 heads and cam packages I would love to see what kind of displacement these blocks are. capable. Of supporting hopefully A.396ci.6.5L or A 427. 7.0L! I believe these motors with the RPM there capability of with larger? displacement will be close to other motors, low boost numbers. If you're allowed to say anything or know anything about that Steven, please let Us know if there's plans for that in the future, obviously, I understand with tuning capability but I would love to see a 427 flat plain crank. Gives me the goosebumps, thinking about it. Also, could the block be punched out to either number and not mess with the heads or cams? Was curious about that also?
Hi, very interested 50 hp with bolt ons, very nice. Curious about a couple things, I watched the video 3,4 times, it seems like very noticeable clutch slipping at 3-4 shift and 4-5 shift, your thoughts, questions #2 have you guys ever used or tried any throttle controllers, like soler, or banks. They definitely make a very noticeable difference in throttle response, i realize no actual HP gains, but it definitely feels like it, you should consider offering those as an option IMO, not trying to tell you what to do, just a friendly suggestion. Love your videos. Thanks
You waiting on HPTuners to unlock ECU? or you guys working on your own solution? Interested in this package but want to get the most out of it with a proper tune first.
What do you think about Soler Performance throttle body for the C8 Z06. Think they have a new 92mm available soon. Currently have 87mm tb. And have you used Soler throttle controller. I realize you gain zero hp, just pedal feel. And theft deterrent … dead petal. I kind of figured that with all of the R&D that went into the LT6 engine, that if it could benefit from a larger throttle body or different air intake… GM would have done it from the factory. They had no budget restrictions while developing the LT6. Engine for the Z06. Cat’s I understand, due to emission requirements.
You cannot really compare them. If you ask me I would say C8 is not a corvette because it does not drive like a corvette and it does not really look like a corvette because of being mid-engine and other stuff. C8Z06 is a great car, but I prefer my C7 Z06 that I have for years. Other thing is that with the price of one loaded C8 Z06 you can get 2 C7 Z06s with the same performance capabilities. Both C7 Z06 and C8 Z06 are track cars. The slight advantage that C8 has over C7 is the traction. From what I heard from her and there C8 has more issues compare to C7. The maintenace of C8 Z06 is way over the roof compare to C7 Z06. An oil change for a C8 Z06 costs about $650-$1000. So to answer your question which one is better stock for stock I would say C7 because we see C7s since 2014 which is 10 years from now with no major issues for this generation. So you can answer your question in a few years when the C8s become 8-10 years old cars.
@ well said. The maintance is huge for me. I do my own changes so it only costs me maybe $80 on my C7Z. And to be honest from what I have seen, the C7Z actually pulls away from the C8Z on the highway… Toss a cheap intake and borla catless X-pipe on the C7Z for less than $1000, and a person picks up an easy 30-40RWHP without even a tune..
You would have to compare C7 Z06 vs C8 Z06 instead of base models. One makes a lot more torque than the other. So seat of the pants feel as soon as you hit it at lower RPMs you definitely get more with the C7Z. The C8Z, you have to be above 5500RPMs at the hit to enjoy.
Absolutely 100% the best mod you can do if you only pick one. Next go with the Eventuri.. The C8 Z06 sounds wicked with high flow cats regardless if you have an Eventuri.. Titanium exhaust doesn’t hurt either 💪🏼
Mine was the first one done like this. I was there for the no testing. You’re one of those guys who don’t know what they are talking about and, oh yeah DONT have a car!
Its nice, but I think the HP number is kind of low. I know that C8 Z06 makes about 600-610 WHP stock. I think Eventuri by itself adds about 35-40 WHP. So if the conditions are right it should make about 650WHP.
No sir, they baseline around 585rwhp on our Dyno jet, and this one baselined 550rwhp on our HUB Dyno. This car has made the most gains to date from before to after results for our Stage 1.
Holy cow, is that driver's seat really that high? Just like driving a van. Apparently GM likes to think that the typical American can easily get in and out of the cockpit. But sadly, t's not sporty at all.
I own a 24 Z06, my legs are almost straight out in front of me, it's like a fighter jet. I'm athletic and 165lbs and it's work getting in and out. Wtf are you talking about ??
The sound was bad ass you passed by us in the other lane . It was so loud and mean sounding 🔥🔥🔥
Haha!! That’s awesome!! Feel free to stop by the shop anytime for a tour.
It was good running into you the other day! I was in the gray C7 Z06. Can't wait to send my car to you guys for an 850hp package
It was very nice meeting you! I look forward to working on your baby in the near future!
That sound is 🔥🔥
Thank you! We absolutely love it!!
Best sounding intake and exhaust combo i have heard. Really didn't expect that. Sounds like a 458 intake sound
Car is bad ass! Can't wait to see ECU unlocked. Strut tower brace looks great and is important......
I still cannot believe GM made something as wild as they did with the Z06 I absolutely love it, dream car of mine for sure!
Wow, I still can't even handle the power of the Ls2! This must be mind boggling.
Stage 1 package is about $10,000. Excluding shipping car & hotel stay if you choose to wait for installation by LMR
That’s great horsepower gain for some bolt on’s… the sound is so good… NICE 👍🏻…😎
Hand porting throttle bodies is not quite "bolt on" but yeah.
@@MotoJByes it is
Love that strut tower brace and the Black on the Zo6. Sounds awesome!
Thank you! We think it looks great as well.

Cool video. The bolt ons do work. I’ll be adding nitrous after the bolt ons
Ya buddy!!!! 💪
I really like the strut tower brace.
Love everything about it
I prefer that strut brace over GMs.
Great job on the car too! Beastly!
We love it too! 😎
I will be ordering my 2025 soon I can't wait will be calling LMR
Very crazy sound, amazing car
Thank you! We love this platform.
Can’t wait till the zr1 is out
It’s going to be a monster!

Keep waiting....and be willing to pay at least $100k more than a Z06.
I can't wait till 4 months when i get mines

Any clutch modifications to handle the extra power? I know it's not a lot of extra power but it is some.

We will make sure and get that on the next one we build. 👌

Wow🤯
What is 60-130 with this package?
Fr!!
looks like 7 to 8 sec from the video.
We will make sure and get that information on the next one. We were limited on time with this time.
I thought the strut brace was stock. It looks bad ass.
What's the wheel combo? What's the rear offset? Lowered?
We add spacer to rear wheels to offset them out towards qaurter to make it look better. Nice catch! 💪
Is that a slipping clutch or a power decrease to save the clutch ?
Hey are you getting the ZR1 boss???!!?!?! Would love to see you get your magical hands on it and videos!
You know Mr Fereday will have one! 😎
will this affect the warranty?

It will make over 650whp on E85 when tuning becomes available
Beautiful. Gotta admit. Very fast too.
Thank you! These always turn out great!
Stock for stock which is better in your opinion c7 vs c8 z06 im talking about totally factory no modifications at all
Loaded question. What are you looking for, cheap ways to add big power? The C7Z.

Titanium exhaust doesn’t hurt either 💪🏼
Yes
50rwhp for how much $$?
If it baselined 560 ish then in reality stock it’s bout the same as a Camaro ZL1 LT4 to a certain extent tho
No supercharger ?
None on the market yet. Give Procharger another six months
Needs a Fabspeed exhaust on it.
Titanium 💯
The price tag for 50HP just isn't lining up for value sorry.
You forget how many people are rich these days and 10k is toilet money. That’s def not me unfortunately.
🤤
Somethin slippin? Revs jumped in 5th.
No way to get 50 WHP with basic bolt ons. Show before and after charts to make it more believable.
