I was needing to add another emergency light in the office, so I decided to show you how easy it is to do yourself. Luckily, I already had a J-box installed on the wall, to ad one of these in the future. If you don’t have a junction box to attach a light to, do not worry. This light can be easy installed in a multiple of ways, including on the end of an electrical conduit, or even surface mounted.

Question! I just installed some lights. Once I put power to it the button was a steady red. I looked at the owners manual and it says nothing about a steady red. Will it ago away with time?
As you can see in the video around 07:05 mine has the red light as well. That is letting you know that the light has live power going to it. It is always on when the light is receiving power to it. Most emergency lights and exit signs I have used and / or seen have light light on it.

LOOL? 277 is correct. It's a standard voltage for commercial lighting in the US. It's the single-phase voltage of a 480 3-phase system. 480/sqrt(3) = 277.128... Most newer lights sold for commercial environments will work with 277V, 240V, or 120V power.
