VERY well made. No animation glitching at all, fluid movements, even of the toys, natural plot progression without taking an hour, interesting story, no plot holes, tickling ending. What's there to want? Definitely worthy of a prize.
I was gonna say "Hey, the Pyro can't be on fire!" when he got lit aflame during his little panic as a toy, but then I realized he's made of wood. That's a good detail.
The BLU Soldier specifically seems to be shown sometimes as a bit of a team leader Not in a big way, but he's kind of avoided the flanderization that turned the Soldier into a total basket case, like he is by Expiration Date. He still has a vibe of a stupid, slightly cracked, but still basically functional drill sergeant (Think the War! comic). And then he's in a bossman-ish role in End of the Line
Dunno why, but I absolutely love this moment. 1:13 (somewhere close) Maybe it’s the fact that Spy immediately goes to hid in a box. Maybe it’s the wave Pyro gives the medic. It might be Heavy’s joy at seeing the sandwich. There’s at least five more moments there that I enjoyed, problem is I don’t know what I enjoyed the best from that series of clips alone.

Original concept, great use of ideas, good flow to the overall plot, and music that suits the video without being the same stock TF2 music! This is definitely a possible winner.
I love the little details, for example, they can’t scream or make noises because they don’t have mouths, or that Pyro gets lit on fire because he’s made of wood. This is extremely well made too!
The lack of dialogue and the great movement instead is fantastic - if I didn't know what tf2 was, I'd probably mistake it for something like a professional pixar short! Amazing work!
The choice of no voice was made by me after last Year's saxxy awards with Protonic Morons. I realized I did kind of a mistake to rush everything and hire voiceactors and such, and in this kind of project it was not seen as necessary to get voiceactors and I didn't liked to use the normal quotes to compose sentences.
(1 year late) but yeah, something like Lil Guardian Pyro, based on plushy cosmetics, teaming up and fighting FROM 2013, manages to still be better than some other TF2 SFM's
Okay now, I think we have the winner right here! Seriously this is instantly my all-time favourite Saxxy-awards entry, and I wish you all best of luck because this really deserves to win. Both fantastic animation and a nice story

Wonderful animation and great story! I even noticed you animated Merasmus' sleeves to dangle a bit when he moved. Thats another thing I was hoping people would do when I added the bones there. Apologies my model might not have been up to par with others but Im glad you guys could use it so nicely!
Trust me, your model was far better than anything we had hoped for to start out with! We even added the entire first intro part, just because this new gorgeous model was out to be played with. Gotta admit it was not until late that i noticed the sleeves, but when i did... i just had to animate them! ;)
THAT. WAS. AWESOME. There are so many things about this that I just love. The concept in general is magnificent, animation was top-notch, music fit perfectly. For more specifics, I'm so glad you took advantage of Pyro's character. That ending basically made this short. You captured them perfectly. The silent and intimidating gas-masked mysterious person, but with a large soft-side as it truly doesn't understand what is going on around him. One of my favorite shots has got to be 0:45. The lighting is perfect, the magical essence perfectly captures what's about to go down. And oh lord, the expressions in this scene. Beautiful. I also love the foreshadowing in the first scene, how there's a mannequin in the book. Really nice heads-up. And how you managed to do this all without casting a word. The expression, the body motions, all of the character in the Team Fortress 2 members is truly awe-inspiring. You know exactly what each character is thinking, without narration or talking. This is the TF2 SFM version of Castaway if I've ever seen it. Best animation I've seen so far for this Saxxy Awards. It's truly marvelous what people can do in SFM. You got my vote, that's for sure.

the ending was unexpected i laugh so hard and i like the concept and the Detail and the idea of the video at first ithough they Look bad but then I figure it out That its good so the animation the flow of the animating... the Bloom of th animation flowsreally good

That is absolutely impressive! I love how you guys nailed the characters body languages and facial expressions. What a funny and immersive story. This is by far the best contender for the Saxxy Awards I have seen THROUGH ALL THE YEARS!
from the first few shot, my thought were already, oh wow the scene composition is amazing and the camera movement is great, when it got to the story, i was hooked, it was amazing, the fact that it didnt use that much dialogue just makes it much better, it shows that the team who made this knows how to tells a story without relying on dialogue so good job, its my favourite saxxy entry this year!
Wow is great. Original idea, amazing animation, realistic reactions knowing these characters personalities (or at least their pretend personalities), and you can easily understand what the mannequins are relaying to one another without a single word but if you don't it's easy explain within the next few seconds again without any words. I haven't seen this kind Wallace and gromit kind of animation based storytelling since well Wallace and fucking gromit. Seriously congrats.
