- Hello everyone ....! How are you today all subscribe and viewers , Nice to see you all on my Channel ( Beaver Dam Removal ) flood on street road I remove trash clogged culvert drain water out.

It seems to me that education is needed here, people don’t seem to realise what their trash is doing to their environment 🤷♀️

Low lying country pron to flooding they get used to it hot climate too but water to drains really has no where to go ,street trash and no one seems to clean makes it worse.

This is so much bigger of a problem than just clogged culverts. That is a damn river running through the streets.
you wiuld think that some of the shop owners would go sort the nearest drain out. than just stand watching the water run through theur doorway... but a lot of water for just 2 drains.
this flooding happened when people have no sense of trash problem and just throw them anywhere. see the clog of plastic and other trash makes flooding.

Sometimes when severe weather happens your trash is being blown all over the place while you seek shelter at home. Sometimes people can’t do anything about that.

I think best to wear heavy duty rubber gloves to proitect your hands . You don't know what you will be picking up with your hands .

Seems like the local government needs to invest in a better drainage systen and a better street works program.

This has nothing to do with Beavers, only with Humans and there trash.
Throw the trash away since you’re there!!
They build large drains in the street with one small opening. This is the norm in India.
You should bag up the trash and remove it instead of leaving it there to cause the same problem again later...finish the job
It would be much easier to clear the drain BEFORE the rain came.
You see all those people standing round when they could be doing what this man is doing, but their way of thinking is why should I do when some one else will came around and do it. Seems like this problem is more than just trash. Have anyone really finds the main source where the water is coming from?
Here are some suggestions:
1. Adopt a drain culvert system. People that lives nearby a drain can check on it once in a while.
2. Trash management system needs to be addressed.
3. The drainage system needs to be rebuilt so that its able to take in that huge amount of water.
People should actually be fined

The drainage system is already in place. The people need to stop littering and clogging the drains.

These people deserve to live like this. They don't even give a damn about how bad the restrooms smell in the local restaurants. So why would they care about the trash they throw in the streets that cause this flood. I mean. Have you ever seen them operate a dozer or a dump truck? Nuff said.

They need severe littering laws, plus officers to strictly enforce the penalties. After time, one would hope it would start to sink in and change public behaviour. It's a big ask, but you have to start somewhere.

Looks like where you unclogged the storm drains was upstream. Where does the water flow to? Are there drains downstream?

they need more drainage.
We are all guilty of this type of thinking. It was so easy for me to sit at my computer screen as my overweight behind eased further into my cushioned chair and think "Why is no one doing anything?" This is the first story that came to mind :
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.
I remember my uncle giving this an an example one Sunday morning sermon when I was a little kid and it has stuck with me since. It helps keep me from getting too big for my britches.

Oh my, wear gloves bro. But thank you. People throw things anywhere, and it ends up flooding the streets. Are there garbage bins there? I believe there should be at least two per block, three if blocks are long. It will prevent littering.
Not for nothing but if I were to go around clearing culverts like that I would use a decent set of gloves to make sure my hands didn't get cut up from something I couldn't see.

i do think that it could be quite dangerous in that area to unclog these culverts.. depending on the local fauna.

I’ve said it before…why don’t the shop keepers keep the drain nearest them clear, it would save all this flooding..and of course the building of such unfriendly drains is down to bad planning…
