What a fucking machine!!! Absolutely in my top 3 and possibly #1 ever for me!!!! That color and all the black underneath!!!!!! I have modern bikes were every square inch is covered in chrome, fucking lame. Don’t even get me started on the looks and design of the bikes.......but this beauty was from a time where engineers and designers were fucking artist!!! Pure Americana!!!
My very 1st motorcycle was a 46 Knuckle Head Harley I bought in '56.....at the age of 16. Two days later, along with my 15 year old brother, we took off from central CA on what turned out to be a 3500 mile road trip on a 'mission' to relocate a 'lost' uncle somewhere near Spokane, WA...and we did. Over the years, I put close to 150K on four different Harleys, including riding to work 100 miles a day for three years to San Jose, CA...then at the age of 27, found myself raising two sons, and so I quit riding for a while. A year or so later, my brother-in-law rode up my driveway on a brand new Honda 750 4 cyl (With electric start)...I'd heard about them, but as a 'die hard' Harley man, had paid them scant attention......took it for a short ride.....Goodbye Harleys and I've never looked back. BHE
1st kick, actually! Pls notice that he's turning the ignition on only after 2 kicks before. How I learned it, too (from a mutual friend): 2 kicks with ignition off. Then turn ignition on.
I don't know much about these bikes. I saw another harley video of a shovelhead motor, and it also had very inconsistent stop and go sounds. It almost sounds like the bike stalled or something. Anyone know why?
i own a rebel 500 cc, is quiet but deep, and way more cheap than every harley, is an awesome bike. i dont know why i hate loud motorcycles. when you go 80MPH with a vince exhaust your head blows up. instead of that a quiet motorcycle let you enjoy the ride.
Looks like a 1990s evo 1340cc with raked front end . I turned my 92 Sporty into a diff bike.I put a 32 degree raked chromed forks on her .Fat boy wheels front and rear. Softail rear fender big twin tank ,Strader 2 into 2 exhaust.White wall avons.Chrome engine.Boy it was a looker.
if you keep your foot for a long time on the kick rod even after the engine is fired up, then my friend you will have some problems with the engine sooner or later..... cheers 👍
You can tell it's a Harley shop, they have drip trays for their customers bikes.
Yo a few drips never heard anybody
Foghorn Leghorn i have 2018 M8 114 Fat Boy which i love. But These Here Seems mechanical Garbage To me.
Harley's do not leak oil! They do however occasionally mark their territory. L.O.l.
@@gusseisern1151 ä4
u mean the anti rust application system?
Lol, notice the tray underneath: "If your Harley isn't leaking oil, it means there's no oil left in it." (c)
Just like when they stop smoking!-best bikes ever built!
cool👍
Did Harley sells his motorcycles with a chromed tray included?
Harley's don't leak oil, they mark their territory. I'll admit I heard this first as a Triumph joke but then I do live in England.
true for the older bikes but they fixed those issues for the most part around 2000

I love the short springer on those bikes . The color is cool also.
Harley really missed the mark not continuing with a short springer
Gorgeous bike,lucky man.
When it takes off it sounds like an Antonov An-2..! That's quite a feature IMO.
I have a 38 that was my grandfathers. He bought it new.
Remind me of the old days when I was a kid.
Timeless beauty..
That’s John Teller’s bike
Damn, what a beauty!
Plot twist: It’s an e-bike and the driver had beans for lunch

that metal pan he keeps under it to catch all the oil it leaks and the nuts and bolts that fall out at idle though
In spite of any of that behold the Glory
Geiler Knucklebobber, geiler Laden, cooler Typ... LG. aus HH, von umme Ecke....
That is such a beautiful bike.
And its in colour, amazing.
😲😨😰 That's one hell of a bike!!! My slim is vaguely inspired on that but for whoossies compared with this 😬
that springer is beautiful!!
Riding one of these old bikes is like trying to fly an old B17 that's been shot to hell and running on one engine.
No thrill like it.
Beautiful bike.

I like how he kicks it over twice before realizing the ignition switch was off!
He was charging the fuel system, then turned it on. It's how the old dry systems worked.
Stunningly Beautiful..............in another life maybe just maybe........Dear Santa i would like a .....
Beautiful knuckle!
Dream. Wonderful bike.
From the sound, there's something wrong with the carburetor setting.
No there's not.
Yes it is.
I love the unsteady idle
The Japanese have tried to recreate that and just can't. Understandable since it is 100 year old technology.
Is that John Teller's bike? (Sons of anarchy)🙄
Звук превосходный!
Да и тачка кайф если не заметил
And on the 3rd kick, all hell broke lose!Pure,"Whip Ass"!

So says you.
That was cool and it sounded like a Harley should.
BRUTAL
I have to admit, I don't get it. Drip pan? They sound like they barely run. I'm trying, really. But I think I'll stick with my BMer.
You mean your half of a Volkswagen engine. Lol!

There is almost no traffic on that intersection. And if, it's always slow. Don't worry.

He swung his foot off the kickstart like a guy who’s been kicked back by one.
I've heard pigs squeal in better tune than that rattle trap!
Gimme a tuned Shovel, and.... "roll over" Beethoven.
