"Why would you do this?" The warlock looked over the two, a warlock and a titan who had the genius idea to assist in Crow's most recent grand heist. The warlock, Karlo Machun, was always a little on the wild side of things. The titan was Achiell, and she was a New Light that was rezzed in the Tangled Shore a few months ago. "He needed help and we were there. I don't see the problem." Achiell said. Defiant as all newbies were, he shook his head, was he like that once? "He didn't need your help. He could have done it all blindfolded and still would have done it perfectly." He turned his eyes to Karlo. "I will admit. It got a bit out of hand." Karlo sighed. "Just a bit." Achiell added. He pinched the bridge of his nose, he didn't know if Guardians got headaches but he was feeling one right then and there. "You flew a burning ketch into the Last City, can you imagine how that looked for the civilians?" "I get it, we get it. Sorry for the trouble we caused you, Savos." Karlo apologized and turned to walk away, Savos was fine with letting it end. Then Achiell spoke up. "Why are you apologizing? We did what was right! The Eliksni needed those supplies and we got them some, who cares how it looked?" Savos understood her anger, he was frustrated too, it was growing more and more unstable in the city these days and he wasn't liking where all this tension was leading. "We are on a tightrope, and one misstep leads to conflict in our city. Conflict in our city weakens our entire system, it can not happen. Period. Crow I trust to get this done quietly, but if you insist on going on more missions like this, then learn how to do it well." Savos was smaller than the titan, but he still looked her dead in the eye, he could see the anger building. He was willing to take a lightning strike if he had to. To his surprise, she backed down. "Alright. Alright. My bad, I'll get better before heading out like that again." Savos nodded and let out a heavy sigh as they left. He turned his attention back to the last city, and his eyes went to the Eliksni District...the first things he ever killed were Fallen. The same was true for most of the newer guardians, and now they were their neighbors. Savos would have laughed if it wasn't so strained. His ghost appeared by his head. "Meeting with Ikora and Mithrax in ten, Lakshmi will be present as well." Savos nodded and took one more glimpse at the Last City. Not one more wall will fall, not if he can help it.
Awesome video yet again, thanks a 1,000,000 Byf. I really-REALLY hope the FWC is wrong and there can be a lasting peace between us and the Eliksni. This seems like a rich fain of lore but would still like you to rather finish the Clovis Bray series first.
For those worried about Ramen fallen: Read the seasonal heavy machine gun lore tab again, Shattered Cypher. In it, it doesn't actually say the eliksni is dead, in fact, and exo mentions directly "I'm guessing he didn't get far" seeming to indicate the eliskni escaped. So, his likely alive, just horribly maimed and tortured.... anyone else have the sudden urge to show some spoiled city folks what we did to scum in the dark ages?
That Eliksni talking to Amanda is the same one that has ramen in the city later. Which means he cursed at the ramen owner because he remembered Amanda's words
Same here. I was like... seriously? What the fuck is his angle this time? Then as soon as I saw "Is Bird!" I was laughing and thought about how pissed Spider was going to be
He's not a villain as such but he's definitely on the darker side of grey. I think while he wants control over others and to horde he's also happy that house light may be building a new future for the Eliksni as a species. Especially when he's seen such destruction to the Eliksni as the scorn
first off crows badass for doing that, second of all, are we gonna get a love story with amanda and crow? the way she said that hes an all right guy and smiles kinda makes me think it. but idk anyone else getting that feeling?
I think she and Cayde had a little thing. So no. You would never be able to get to that point with the person who had killed him in their previous life
Any chances you can cover whatever lore we have on Lakshimi-2 and the Future War Cult? Given their inevitable impact on the events unfolding this season, I believe it is important to review their history in order to put their actions into perspective.
So, considering all of this, I'm gonna go out on a limb and presume Crow is a Nightstalker. After all, you gotta be real stealthy to steal shit from the Spider and not get caught.
In the season of the hunt armor (either the Titan or hunter set), there is a lore tab where a Titan fights Crow (not knowing who he is). In the fight, Crow uses an explosive throwing knife and a Golden gun, so we know that at least he is a gunslinger. Although it is canon that other guardians besides the player use multiple subclasses. In one story, Osiris used chaos reach even though he is traditionally a Dawnblade/sunsinger.
@@filwilliamson9149 Osiris actually goes a step further, in another lore entry he actually switches Subclasses and Attunements mid-combat to use multiple different Supers in rapid succession.

God, the voice actors are really stepping up the game. Either that or the lore writers. That slight pause by Saint when Mithrax says "Because we would wish to live." sends a message. Speculative at best, but the way I see it, it's Saint realizing that the Eliksni had not forgotten what Saint had done in the past. Also a realization that Mithrax and Saint are two sides of the same coin. They fight for their people. They wish to see their people thrive. It's goddamn amazing.
I just don’t want him to be the vanguard. He still has a lot to learn before he takes over as head of the hunters. Shiro or Ana would be better choices, or Marcus Ren. Actually I’d like for it to be Marcus as it would allow us to meet him finally

I love the eliksni, they are so wholesome in the house of light at least and I love the wholesome parts of this season but i also enjoy the dark parts.
I’ve always wanted more eliksni lore like this and I continue to hope for more.
And with that rude note, Crow is officially a full-fledged hunter.
12:23 The voice you put on for Saint for this line was spot on
"Why would you do this?" The warlock looked over the two, a warlock and a titan who had the genius idea to assist in Crow's most recent grand heist.
"You flew a burning ketch into the Last City, can you imagine how that looked for the civilians?"
"I get it, we get it. Sorry for the trouble we caused you, Savos." Karlo apologized and turned to walk away, Savos was fine with letting it end. Then Achiell spoke up.
"Why are you apologizing? We did what was right! The Eliksni needed those supplies and we got them some, who cares how it looked?"
Savos understood her anger, he was frustrated too, it was growing more and more unstable in the city these days and he wasn't liking where all this tension was leading.
Wow... just wow.
Damn that is some good shit
Are we sure he isn't the one writing the lore?
@@wizpyy6808 I wish, but no I'm just a Destiny nerd and a writer.
Awesome video yet again, thanks a 1,000,000 Byf.
I really-REALLY hope the FWC is wrong and there can be a lasting peace between us and the Eliksni.
This seems like a rich fain of lore but would still like you to rather finish the Clovis Bray series first.
12:26 I don't know why but Byf doing that accent like that had me flipping *wheezing* with laughter.
Virgin Saint-14: Were I go one of your cities, would you bow to all of my demands?
Chad Mithrax: Yes
" I am crow I steal from the spider and give to the other smaller spiders
For those worried about Ramen fallen: Read the seasonal heavy machine gun lore tab again, Shattered Cypher. In it, it doesn't actually say the eliksni is dead, in fact, and exo mentions directly "I'm guessing he didn't get far" seeming to indicate the eliskni escaped. So, his likely alive, just horribly maimed and tortured.... anyone else have the sudden urge to show some spoiled city folks what we did to scum in the dark ages?
Spider really is just a six-handed Hondo Ohnaka.
I didn't know i needed Byf's Saint XIV impression until he said "Look is bird!"
Thank you Byf
My Headcanon is that my Huntress catched Crow doing this and then decides to help him out.
So proud of my boi.
My hunter, titan and warlock would help crow on a heartbeat
@@sanddoc06sand9 "I only know crow for a day and If something happened to him I would kill everybody in spider's room and then myself"
He fidgeted for a moment, then proudly held up the badge on his lanyard.
"Multipass"
Crow is honestly sounding like a whole based memelord
That Eliksni talking to Amanda is the same one that has ramen in the city later. Which means he cursed at the ramen owner because he remembered Amanda's words
That Huckleberry love is, well, well loved.
I initially thought spider was trying to get influence in the house of light when I started reading this, but this is much better
Same here. I was like... seriously? What the fuck is his angle this time?
Then as soon as I saw "Is Bird!"
I was laughing and thought about how pissed Spider was going to be
I really thought spider was a bad guy and would be pissed but he almost sounded proud that crow helped house of light.
He's not a villain as such but he's definitely on the darker side of grey. I think while he wants control over others and to horde he's also happy that house light may be building a new future for the Eliksni as a species. Especially when he's seen such destruction to the Eliksni as the scorn
No! The little eliksni TEMPORARY fren.
This particular saga is heartbreaking.
first off crows badass for doing that, second of all, are we gonna get a love story with amanda and crow? the way she said that hes an all right guy and smiles kinda makes me think it. but idk anyone else getting that feeling?
I think she and Cayde had a little thing. So no. You would never be able to get to that point with the person who had killed him in their previous life
Didn't he ask her for a date earlier?
@@TheConfigurat0r the man is asking for rejection tbh
They've been flirting so much. But atm she doesn't know who he was
@@TheConfigurat0r i swear he did last season as one of the ending dialogues for the nessus battlegrounds
What I like most about Crow is how much he resembles a more...tame Cayde-6. Those two would definitely have gotten along so well.
Lol I just read this lore tab in game and was a nice surprise
Don’t read the machine gun lore tab.
@@TheAHuman I already did 😳😬
Let’s Go Crow. Can we look at more Eliksni in the City, I believe I speak for many, but it truely is a fascinating idea
Any chances you can cover whatever lore we have on Lakshimi-2 and the Future War Cult? Given their inevitable impact on the events unfolding this season, I believe it is important to review their history in order to put their actions into perspective.
I agree with this. The factions haven't been relevant for so long many people may just not know about them
Makes that "I want that loot" idle dialogue from spider a little funnier
@@filwilliamson9149 iirc the Drifter is also confirmed to be completely unbound by class role in his use of the light.
@@filwilliamson9149 Osiris actually goes a step further, in another lore entry he actually switches Subclasses and Attunements mid-combat to use multiple different Supers in rapid succession.
@@filwilliamson9149 What lore tab does Osiris use Chaos Reach?
@@This_Pleases_The_Nut It was a Bungie.net short story released right before Season of the Hunt. I forgot the name, but it was the one that detailed Sagira’s death.
That the Eliksni sharing words of the manifest with Amanda is also the one who ate the Ramen is just delightful. I hope we see more of this mysterious fellow in future texts
TEMPORARY eliksni story is written so well i was truly rooting for him. Then it just hurt really bad. I wanted the story of TEMPORARY to become something greater. :(
We may not know his name, but he shall be remembered as one who was willing to do his best to bridge the gap.

Copying a comment I read in this same video: They may be TEMPORARY, but they are eternal in our hearts.
Nah nah NAH
He escaped through the cracks. Are you a fool or something he lives he lives
I hope youre right
What if Temporary as a name is a joke from bubgie?
He gets resurrected as a Guardian, hence he was only temporary before?
Okay, other than his voice being distinct as hell, byes voice acting when Amanda calls back is amazing.
Feel bad that Crow isn't in this season. I understand they are focusing on other characters but was hoping to see a bit more of him after the last season. It's good that bungie is still doing stuff with him though.
I have a feeling he's going to play a major role in the next season.
RIP "temporary" fallen.
Supposedly they escaped. I hope he got out alive.
Crowvus Corax really doing the 19th proud while in another universe

And here I thought I couldn't love Crow more.
I get it. Crow is redeeming himself. Thats what Bungie wants. But what I see is trouble. And Osiris has been the catalyst for so many of these troubling things that Crow has caused. Osiris and his manipulation of Crow, as they are both likely manipulated by Savathûn, could easily lead us down a path to war.
We're ALL being manipulated by savathûn
my god the second i realized its the same eliksni i felt sooooo bad knowing what is going on :c
