man, you didnt consider how busted shes gonna be with the charm system, mages set bonus is gonna give raw 20% damage increase, 20 execution and 250 stamina when using ult. can happen every 8sec, she can like cast 3 ults every 8 secs with the charm set binus activated. and shes already dealing marilee lvl damage in dream realm right now.

Use Alsa S+, with Thoran link + Reinier Buff on her, Eiron S+ and Arden.
Especially on Supreme Arena, Fight Number 2 with moral boost.

Wow, thank you for the recommendation. I was struggling trying to figure out a good team comp and gave up all hope on her until I saw your comment. Works amazingly well and I can now crush pvp with her.
She automatically became the top damage dealer on nearly all my teams (even when compared to Odie) and I have them the same rank….
The same I got here to mythic I never listen to theses guys they said floorBell sux she is good all.
The difference is that odie is easy and free to max out
any dps unit can function well with high dupes

Difference is odie kills enemies early so it doesn't matter if he isn't top damage dealer

I agree with what you said when she is at one copy. Currently have her at S+ with eironn m+ and she is clearing afk stages better than the odie team. (My odie is s+ with s+ smokey) And using her in dream realm to push T50 against people 30 levels higher than me. But wouldn't recommend if u don't have eironn (Her BiS) m+ at least and her s+.
Brother you always say the new unit sucks but Vala is insane florabell is insane you don't have a good history of predicting unit strength so far
Vala was insane (and still is in some servers) due to her being a higher ascension and people haven’t been able to build Igor yet.
Florabelle is also kinda good (not insane) because of her being an upgraded cecia that can be on the wilder meta comp. But she isn’t really a staple over granny or hewynn.
Alsa is also kinda bad at one copy. At S+ she does MASSIVE work though. She was tripling M+ Arden’s dps for me. But she really is facing similar issues to Florabelle since Alsa is comparable to Carolina. Depending on how the endless dream realm meta kicks off would determine if Alsa was insane or not.

He's just out of touch with how Dupe based gachas work and its leading to his "character reviews" being reeeeeeeeeally bad and full of misinformation lol. Mainly because he isnt duping them himself and apparently not asking around to the people who actually did lol. Hes just pulling one copy, when there isnt a single dps in the game who works at one copy and then saying they suck lol

While she carries in pvp, carries in AFK pushing and is even a sub dps with Odie in dream realm with the magic def shred arti lol. He even said "even with dupes, she just dies" which is just a lie lol

Yes, every character needs dupes to function in this game. But Alsa is not a stand alone unit. She requires eironn m+ to function. She does jump straight into the enemy and gets herself killed depending on ai. But most of the time she has enough energy to roll away. Personally able to use her to push afk stages where replays only show odies that are 10-20 levels higher than me.
Already got her S+, love me a pangolin girl.

The only way to counter Alsa suicide is to pull an enemy unit into your back line. So she ults into them in YOUR back line. Then she safely yo-yo’s into enemies.
you can put her behind thoran with the chain and she doesnt die, at S+ so out does my 10+ odie and +2
eironn supreme, granny legengary, cecia mythic, + hyween or smokey or rowan
the team i wrote is the one i use her with and she SHINES. 1) she gets her ult faster (at around half the energy) after the first time and can trigger the artifact for the damage after nth number of ults at around half the time 2) at supreme+ she gets additional damage to the enemies that were controlled by enemies. eironn mythic+, a few seconds into the battle, and the enemies lose around 20% of their health just by standing 3) she's great for bosses and single target fights
she's not vala who's great almost everywhere, this unit works with some conditions but if you meet them your enemies are done for basically lol
I got Alsa Mithic + ....the ish she pulls off during fights..especially stuns...100% happy with her

As a Alsa s+ user, i can easily champion top 100 with s+ cecia and s+ alsa and others m or m+ she deletes in pvp, also she is broken in guild elite challanges as a pure f2p i can one phase the elite challange, its also easy to push afk stages but sadly you need to do them with manual control i have pushed 30+ level up mine
I tried to play in my own way:
no Odie or girl with bow in priority, instead I invested in Parisa and im kinda super happy, she deals HUGE dps with her high crit rate autos and AOE skill - no regrets here
same case with Alsa: I love her design, I want upgrade her as much as I can, I WILL make her work even if it requires to invest in other heros that are normally not rly usefull
Parisa Is great, I mostly use her for guld challenge because when you reach the stage where you have to deal continuous damage to 5 units she just obliterates entirely dealing damage to every single unit each ultimate cast.

That's an absolutely valid way to play the game, but meta comps are meta comps for a reason. You get faction bonuses for deploying more characters of the same faction, so either you lose some of that by using Parisa with Smokie and Koko, or you build an entire Wilder team around her - which still will never reach the dmg output a Mauler team has. Wilders are about survivability, to keep units alive for as long as possible. This is useful for certain parts of the game, but in other parts like Dream Realm which define how fast you'll progress with maxing out units, you will lack the damage the Mauler buff combo (Smokie and Koko) will provide.
She is an absolute allstar in pvp with reiner and thoran damage reduction buff. Add eironn and she just goes off
I like her and only need 1 more copy for M+ to get her EX for some fun comps. I already have Odie at S+ so he can be her teammate for my Mauler team.
I pulled her by accident (hit the pull on the wrong banner) and I continued to build her out of cope.
Best accidental pull I have ever made. She is really fun to play and pushes more content at mythic than my Odie does at Supreme with the right team.
With my Alsa S+, and Ex Weap +10 I've found she can be quite useful... but also, kinda niche at the same time. She can chunck a crazy amount of damage into a very short time... but also, she can potentially die pretty quick. I guess the takeaway would be she is very good at dealing damage to crowds in a small time frame... but if you're going for single target damage (over the course of an entire fight), Odie is your guy (and you should max him asap anyways).
I would heavily disagree in this opinion, as I think she is worth the investment, I just think that cecia and odie don't compare to the damage against alsa, and I also disagree that odie will out damage alsa, I've tried both at paragon 3 and odie don't even compare, and alsa capability to demolish every back line and meta comps in arena and to push, she is worth investing. You can control it with Reiner as well if you don't know how to use it. And she has carried me to demolish the arena, so you can't really say she don't shine in anything since her damage outshines odie, since I think your only viewing it at afk stages, and this opinion would probably be only for new, early players, but alsa is worth investing if you plan to win against, eiron or scar or thoren meta comps.😊😊 But this is a pretty good video.
I agree with everything you said, but there are some teams on which she shines on AFK and PVP (those that defends her like a Thoran link).
On these teams i prefer her over Odie: awesome dmg and stuns locks.
There's one more thing i am looking for on Alsa: have you checked how massive the magic charm skill can be on her to massive spam ults? I could guess she will surpass Odies dmg on bosses with those
Her best teammates are thoran and eironn. Both need min m+. Since Asla needs s+, the power of her teams are higher. Mtash's argument that no one uses her in replays are wrong since replays shows the lowest power. But most of the replays will show you units that are 10-30 levels up on you. Because they have to be or you get one shot.
Alsa is a sidegrade to Carolina. Asla will deal more damage at the start of the battle but carolina's ramp up will have carolina deal more dps later on.
I think you are very wrong about her being worse than florabelle, she is insanely strong i still dont recomend to pull her but you are being blinded if you think she is bad i have pushed stages with deficit of 100 with her she does dies sometimes but you can just move her or change there is some stages where she wont be good same as odie. You just need to be smarter about it

Hard agree. I've seen people do some stuff to (try to) make her work, but they're all just so gimmicky, when there are already more effective comps available. As of now, the only place I really use her is in the current 2nd map in the Supreme Arena with the Raging Duel mechanic based on control effects - a variant of the magic control meta team with her can get the Morale Boost faster.
I've been seeing a lot of Alsa hype for the dream realm bosses where she out damages odie in some of them at high ascension. Thoughts?
he has no idea, cause he doesnt do research and doesnt do it himself. But you are correct, she performs extremely well in dream realm

As someone with S+ odie and alsa, no she does not out damage odie. She out damages marilee in most of the bosses. There are some bosses where she will do similar damage to odie but she hasn't out dps odie for me.

@@snowmangaming7497 She does do massive damage. But she won’t out dps odie. Which is fine since you’re using odie with her. We also haven’t tested endless yet so for all we know Marilee might still be the best.
Can also say that Alsa is the only reason I can compete in arena now. Was struggling in top 200 now able to win 90% of my defenses and holding top 50
I have her at S with level 5 weapon and she almost doubles Odie’s damage. My Odie is S+ with completed weapon.
I went all in for Florabelle, I knew yu said she wasn't gonna be meta but I loved her design so much I was fine with having a acc that was a bit behind. She is now S+ with a +10 weapon and I dont regret a thing. I do still very much appreciate your opinion and video's tho and I will be skipping Alsa. Flora was just an exception for me :3
She's really good on arena defense, I restarted around florabelle, got her to s+ bc I got non stop rowans the first week lol. I don't use her in trial of abyss or bosses anymore, but she is so cheeky on arena def
The eeason I'm not getting her is because I'm free to play. If I get her later through normal banner ok. Right now I'll continue to invest in the good characters I was already.

I got her to supreme+ immediately cause i got lucky with some back to back 10 pulls. My team atm is vala, thoran, cecia, florabelle and alsa. And i always link alsa to thoran so she stays alive.
I’ve been playing since launch and my account is way above average, not at the top, but very strong. There is NOT one time that I needed Alsa, nor situation where she would have been a better fit. I was not impressed, and her role is better used with other meta characters. After she is off the banner, maybe later I might add her to the wishlist, but 100% agree with everything you’ve said.
it's crazy how out of touch people are. Alsa is a unit mostly for whales, or people who can spend a good amount of money to just whale on her and max her out. Most people can't and won't do that. And for sure most low spenders won't and shouldn't spend their gems on her, because getting base S ranks and A ranks is infinitely more worth. While yes, she is good, it's just not worth for most people, since most people aren't whales
I didn't have Caroline maxed out and it might be a long time until I get her. I think Alsa makes a great replacement in that team with Reiner, just drop Damian and Caroline. I was skeptical just like Mtashed was when I pulled her, but man does she carry now. I also think she will get even better with time.

As a F2P got her to supreme+ got really lucky D: and her with my supreme Eironn got me very far ahead in Arena as well as AFK stages with enemies not being able to move despite being 50+ levels above me, though i agree it is to each their own though depending on what you have
After reviewing Alsa skills, i immediately know that she's not good for the team. Lucky i am invested in Florabella the other day and i almost got her to supreme+ and damn she's really good and also team her up with cecia too.
I think once we have Soren we will see a true and fair view of Alsa, for now I'm glad I skipped though

You can use Reiner and Thrown to keep her alive , you have to make a team around her ,she is really good if u can make her survive that long ,

You neglect the fact that you get +5 resonance synergy every supreme+ character, which means eventually you want to supreme+ all characters. Rate ups are the easiest way to supreme+ non-arena shop heroes.
yes, i think pulling in the rate up as long as you can s+ is a good investment because in the end the leveling scales with how many supreme plus you have plus you need 25 S+ to unlock paragon.
Yeah, someone way stronger just lost to me on Arena because their Alsa made a wall that protected my Cecia... yay!
I can understand the disinterest in these new units. Yes they might be considered S Tier, but unlike other games where you can test your luck, build pity, get them early and have an S Tier unit at only a single copy, in AFK Journey you need to go all in. Not to mention the game already provides you the units you need, so it's even harder to justify the investment. At this point I'll only pull if they're units I like, or if they're absolutely game breaking (SSS+ Tier)
I am always in the Top 3 in the Arena of my Server and the only two guys that are ranked higher and I can't beat every single time are using Alsa.
As a p2w perspective, i dont believe Alsa is worth it to anyone who doesnt have their core+ units ready (+ incinuating you have a solid arena team on offence and defence while being at least in or close to champion on your server.) BecausE by then, you should have your main units to at least s, maybe supreme+ (this includes your base purples too.)
I will never deny how strong Alsa is. She lets me beat paragon whale (people who whales harder than me (im vip 15)) teams 1m+ power because I'm using her synergies well, but when I see people who have 2 s+ units and alsa is one of them, it hurts me because they spent a lot of gems early on to get her and have less diversity of units. If we didn't know and have a supreme arena, sure, we can recover with time... but now we are forced to have 15 units on stand-by.
Overall, is Alsa a good unit? Yes, she is great, especially her new season skill make her good in dr apparently and will be an offence staple in arena.
However, for her to do her job in most cases and most efficiently, her other teammates want to be s+ and +10 which is a steep imvestment even as a p2w player, let alone a f2p.

Try the unit first, show us how she perform. If theory isn't proven then it isn't worth a penny, basically a baseless opinion.
If you don't know how to use the unit it isn't a disgrace to ask for peoples opinion, not saying I am better. I know you're really good at this game and I respect that, but having concrete evidence isn't a bad thing. I know the comment section is saying a lot but they do bring some point. Not saying what they're doing is a long term or wise idea, some people just want to boost their game-play and apply things differently. Your gameplay is different. yes. My point is opinion are biased until proven, that is how people view it. I am not siding with anyone here. You are awesome and everyone else.
Additionally, just to make things clear I know a lot of players are free to play. Some are saved-up. It is entirely up to them how they use it, but it is still wise to save them specifically diamonds. Investing ina unit is a big deal and yes easy to access heroes like odie, perharps a versatile heroes will benefit. But a single copy of her might make a change even in low ascension, say koko for example. But as always risk is involved. Play safe if you want, we have our own way of playing the game. Again, it is wise to save resources but risking it may also be a choice.
Lmao no way Florabelle is better than Alsa. The only negative about Alsa is her jump in on first ult which can get her killed. They devs have to remove the jump in, or make her jumpback evasion actually proc when she gets low.
With Arden and Eironn she's amazing. Anyone without a good Caroline can use her. She straight up replaces Carlone in that core CC team.

On a lot of other places (other videos or IG) players would just freely trash her without having tried and would get extra salty if you try defending her
For me she's been extremely helpful and fun to play, she often surpass my Cecia who have a way higher rarity, so I'm pulling all copie regardless because she doesnt seem that bad

I have both at Supreme+ and I can say after extensive testing - Florabel SUCKS! Alsa, does a shit ton of dmg when you need a good AOE unit and also she is amazing against them super fast moving enemies - she locks them in place with her rocks. Alsa also can perma stunlock enemies and won't let them move at all! So as a person who got both of them build and tested Cecia vs Florabel vs Alsa (since they are all at Supreme+ and AOE units with exclusive weapon LVL10)... Alsa is my go to, followed by Cecia and Florabel ... is my very very last choice.

i think the problem with Alsa is that she's so niche that you'll have to build a specific team around her to take advantage of her abilities. characters like Atalanta and Soren would probably pair well with her and while we have yet to see Soren's usefulness in a variety of content, Atalanta is not worth investing into only for arena purposes over other characters that could be useful in multiple contents.
Atalanta is good enough to invest in her anyway. She’s the other S mauler besides smokey you should have on your roster.
Especially with how good Odie is.

She’s great at S+. Watched some streamers do a lot of damage with her in both PVE/PVP. You just need to form a team for her and she’s great. We still don’t know how she is with Soren either.

Why is everyone waiting for the "broken unit" ? For all we know that will never happen, and they'll just keep dropping balanced units forever.
Volkin is good to listen to. Cause he actually understands how Dupe based gacha games work. Mtash has Genshin brain. Where hes thinking about "are they good at one copy", when no one is except brutus and rowan lol. And he wont dupe the unit himself or ask around, to find out how they actually perform. While Volkin has people who let him borrow their accounts and try the units at Mythic+/Supreme. Alsa literally shines in every piece of content and is the DPS carry of the Eirron team now.

for me i S+ Alsa because i like her and i dont care about meta, also florabelle. both are S+. i dont pull for Vala, even shes strong i dont like her. just pull whatever you like, but if youre meta then just wait for evaluation and decide later.

We need to talk about smokey's buff.
It's almost impossible to kill anyone on the opposing team that has a mythic + or greater smokey because he constantly heals the teammates and the aroma is doing more damage now.
He is also immune to control effects. Add koko and odie for factional bonus ans Thoran as the tank with Rowan constantly giving them energy.
That team is cracked
As someone with a S+ Smokey, wtf are you on lol. He is not immune to cc. He is still constantly getting interrupted. Just he can get back to healing sooner (about 1-2 seconds faster)
@@komodo7044 If you run this comp Smokey, Rowan, Koko, Odie and Thoran, you will understand why the current meta Eiron wilder comp is under threat.
You can add Shakir instead of Thoran if you like and Vala instead of Rowan to have a another powerful dps who will get stronger with Smokey and Koko's attack buff
@@andrewkeshan8649 I have ran this comp. If the enemy is running confinement (90% do) then either odie, koko, or Smokey is getting cc. Most run either the Carolina eironn, vala, or cecia in which case your screwed
As a new f2p player isn't it just better to spend my diamonds on normal inv letters? Cuz i need odie copies , alsa isn't great, soren is unknown and keeping my diamonds for 30 days isn't the best use as well if i wanna progress...

Like with all characters, it depends on the situation. Against a strong melee unit team she can completely outzone the enemies if you set on ranged with her and maybe additional Igor in team

He was waiting to see how she’d perform, if at all, in top tier stages and modes. He loses nothing by waiting to see because if it ends up that the character is OP in later content after people already spent on generic banner because they didn’t know the unit was useful or OP later on

I think that's just a design flaw of this whole system too. They want us to buy new heroes, but it would takes weeks of investment, or just pure cash infusion. And the hero isn't worth that.
It's a pass for me, I'll take my 1 copy for the Collection and move along.

It's weird how these new characters feel so superfluous. Because of this, I feel like this game has nothing to offer to me. I'm not a fan of the new gamemodes: I can't stand Supreme Arena; Dura's Trials are whatever. The thing I like is to build new teams around new synergies enabled by new characters. But it's been so dry so far. I have Florabelle, I have Alsa yet i'm still playing the same old shit because it's just better. It's possible something eludes me though.

Saying a character is bad doesn’t necessarily mean i stick to the meta. Though you are right that i should have waited to see if it fits my play style
