I have a 27 inch Late 2012 iMac with an i7, 16 gb of ram and a 2TB mechanical western digital hard drive and my boots and loads within a minute. I start the timer as soon as I touch the button.
I have a late 2013 27" and it never takes that long 24GB and 1TB HDD
