      Not out of nothing, the MOS technology 6502 is the central piece of engineering here, not that the bus, video system, tape loader and basic interpreter are trivial (the woz did all that by himself) but the star here is cheap, off shelf microprocessors.

      To be honest, a mechanical keyboard might not be the answer, it's expensive in contrast to a good standard keyboard. My keyboard is a very cheap 'DELL' standard keyboard and it really feels good in tactile and sound. In sound you really wouldn't tell the difference between mine (a rubber contact solution) and a mechanical keyboard. If you want a late 90's feel i suggest my keyboard would do just fine. I'll just check what my keyboard is called, wait a minute.... it's called sk-8115.. It is a really a cheap keyboard (Litterally i bought it for 3 dollars used, and it looked brand new when i got it). the keys on the keyboard are sticking out on the board, so you really can grab them with your fingers and wiggle them around, in contrast to laptop keyboard haha. I can always feel with the keys with my fingers where i am on this keyboard. It really feels nice when you use your keyboard a whole lot, like me, i'm a programmer so i write a lot (-:
      LOL :D anyways, you guys who are reading this, what i'm really trying to say is that the keyboard you use is important :) But you really don't have to spend all that much for a keyboard you want to try out, before you try out a expensive mechanical keyboard.

    • @reverendaero
      @reverendaero 5 років тому

      That Dell keyboard is actually a pretty nice keyboard for being a cheap OEM one, but a good mechanical keyboard will still blow it out of the water.

      for example: Most European countries uses PAL which runs at 50hz. N.America uses NTSC which runs at 60hz.
      PAL runs slower but sucks less energy.
      NTSC runs faster but sucks more energy.

    Imagine that!! A company that started in 1975 in Steve Jobs' parents' garage!!! I was a teenager back then, and will *NEVER* forget what the two Steves did with the results of their combined brainpower!!!

      Leonhard Euler Remarkable, or a genius. That’s all pretty much just hair splitting. You can‘t just be remarkable if you’re a normal businessman with mediocre ideas, like Apple‘s former CEO‘s for example. So you’re basically saying the same thing. Glad we both agree :-)
