    One of the great things about trading tennis on Betfair is that the markets are quite forgiving and usually always give you a chance.
    In this video, I show you how a bit of patience and dollar cost averaging can help you to either minimise your losing trades or even turn them into winners.
    This is quite a unique thing that makes tennis such a great sport to trade.
    Inside the video are REAL LIFE demonstrations recorded on the Betfair interface so you can see how it is done in front of your very own eyes!
    ⚠️Did you read this description? If Yes, leave a comment saying "NICE COLD BEER" so we know you took the time to read this and also to confuse everyone else ;-)

    Tried this tonight. Felt a bit like chasing a loss but turned a loss to a scratch.

      Yes this is why you should set a designated stop loss BEFORE and stick to that, say a max 50% loss on your stake. This way it isn't chasing, it is actually part of the plan.

    Whats the hit rate on these kind of trades? How often do they win?

    • @SportsTradingLife
      @SportsTradingLife  3 роки тому +1

      Hard to be specific since it would depend on the odds range and situation, but generally you should aim for a 1:1 risk reward ratio when possible (minimum). The profit aim is within your own control.
      So you know that if you can call it right more than 51% of the time then you should profit long term. Once you know the most opportune entry points this shouldn't be hard to achieve.

    So true. use the same strategys for darts. ( mind you betfair is not always fast enought to keep up with the market prices and cash outs and or placing stakes)

    • @SportsTradingLife
      @SportsTradingLife  3 роки тому

      Yes I found that, better off throwing your own stakes in. The cash out can't keep up! Can happen in tennis tie breaks too.

      @@SportsTradingLife I only trade darts with betangel as its faster and stable during trades.
      Its an amazing market . and if you learn to read the markets it verry hard not to make a proffit. and even harder to get a masive loss.

    It all looks great, but what would happen if player that we're laying would win first set 6-0, whats then? Deal with a big loss or count that fortune won't hide from us in the second set? And what if we decide to stick to the plan , and player will win second set 6-0? XD I know it's purely hypothetical but.... what if?

    • @SportsTradingLife

      Good question.
      You would definitely have to set a stop loss. I didn't make it clear in the video but the stop loss was usually at the end of the first set. If you look closely when we were entering the second trade that was usually the limit of where the price was going to so you would only be looking at a few extra ticks of red to see the actual loss.

    So on that last example if Kukova had kept losing, at what stage would you choose to take the loss? simply look at 50% loss maximum?

    As with all your videos, I watch them over and over until I get the strategy. This is the most difficult one for me so far, but I'm only on my first view. So I'll repeat it and take a lot of notes and a careful look at the bets you placed.

    Hi Ben ... the method is spectacular ... small investments for big gains. The only problem is finding the meetings that could take the direction that is convenient for us. How do you select them? What elements do you base on to choose them? (odds, ranking, knowledge of the players?)

      Yes this bit i explain inside the course so can't reveal on UA-cam. But it takes a bit of everything you mentioned to quickly see if it is a fit or not.

    Nice video. Do you suggest to use 5% bankroll as a stake or less?
