Matthew you see what your grandmother did was golden. She let the chicken loses its own juices that is to me is the rankness. Then she did her magic. Proud of you guys especially, because we are all from West Coast Demerara. Guyana. Another excellent job. Keep up the good job.
That is the key! Thanks for watching!

Looks yummy
Yummy.. looks delicious I always wanted to make casreep chicken am definitely trying this recipe.. but Matthew what's hard fowl
Definitely give it a try it's so good. It is fresh chicken from the farm it is just what some guyanese people call it.
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 ok.. I cook it all the time.. am actually cooking channa and bajiee your recipe because I'm fasting for navratri... could you do some vegetarian dishes
@@sweetindranie81 I will try to upload some more veggie dishes. Hapoy Navratri!
Happy navratri to you and your family as well...
Delicious!! I do have a question, is this like the Trinidad stewed chicken? If not, how does it differ
No it is not. Trini stew chicken is made with burnt sugar. Guyanese stew is tomato based. The casareep in this dish makes it casareep chicken, which isn't called stew.
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 can you buy Casareep or it's something made within the family?
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 sorry about all the questions, but Grammy made me really hungry with this epic chicken
If you don’t have Casreep is there something to substitute?
You can use browning or caramelize some sugar.
What brand of casareep did you use?
We use casarep that we get from Guyana
You mentioned a website to buy Guyanese products online in your Pepperpot recipe. What website was that, I couldn’t hear what you said. Than
buyeasy.com
How long do you bake the tennis rolls and what temperature setting?
@@luciramdeen6246 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15-20 min depends on how big you make them
How do you cook kale
I can do a recipe. You want to prepare it like bhajee or how?
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😋😋😋😋
Thanks!
What kind of casareep
We use homemade casareep from Guyana. If you can't get that then Bedessee brand is one I like as well.
