@@grieverlion Not every song has to be about vocals and this definitely isn't rap. The way the vocals combine with all the other sounds is just perfect. The music by itself starts giving a villainous vibe right at this moment ( 0:37 ). If you think about it is the 1st time the word "enemy" is said in the song. That's obviously not a coincidence. I know it might not be your taste, but if this particular song isn't great for this series, then I don't know what is!

It’s really cool that you don’t have to understand the world or the game as a whole. Since the game is full of fighters with a paragraph of backstory, it never went in depth with them. But this could be marked as something offset from League and it would STILL be as amazing as this

Honestly imagine dragons and riot really outdid themselves with this. Every other soundtrack is genuenly great. Makes you forget that its made by a video game company
I literally thought they outsourced this show to other animators to work on. I was shocked that they just trial-and-errored it until they were happy with it for 6 years. The passion and love really shone through; it’s visually stunning and it tells a fantastic story.

What i like about this intro is that at first, if youre going into this show completely blind, it looks like a collection of random shots. But the more episodes you watch the more those shots make sense.

I cannot find myself to skip it at all. Lol I love this intro! The animation of this show is just fantastic, I am thoroughly enjoying watching this it. Just three episodes in and it has such a good plot forming.

Animation is the most basic of this intro, they are only rotating models, the interesting thing is the composition.
0:31 The production & animation team captured the emotional depth in key moments of this intro so well. A trick used by animators is to extend a certain focal point of the scene, by zooming in, increasing lighting, etc... to convey a message. Vander is not only shown shielding Powder and Vi, but trying his hardest to protect their innocence. He's strong, tall and capable of doing so, then the darkness sets in, and Silco takes over, and given by his appearance in the show, he took the light away. You can also hear him do a subtle hmph before the scene transition.
0:38 The Firelight's leader focal point and camera angle turn to the drop is so perfect.
0:44 Caitlyn's weapon, bullet, conveys so much information about the way she fights
I won't go too in depth but 0:51 the high synth, the scene pan on Jinx's face gives such an reaction, highlighting the intensity that she is fighting someone she hates but grieves for at the same time.
And, a hands down to Imagine Dragons, and the audio team as well for delivering such a acoustic masterpiece. Both the official music video and the show. (Though I have to admit this video really highlights the subtle sounds in the orchestral/epic version)
I find myself coming back to repeat this over and over. Especially for that awesome beat drop.

In that exactly frame of animation, when Silco appears in is most "powerful" and simbolic form you put that sound only by chance?. Dont think so. In animation, even in the openings or endings, things are, more or less, calculated.

these subtitles actually made me realize every line syncs with the character on screen:

Just imagine : you're in a cinema, it shows Arcane, and there are thousands of people singing and screaming the lyrics at every episode, cheering at every character first appearence, and going crazy when Vi says "You're hot, cupcake" to Caitlyn
That's what happened yesterday at Le Grand Rex in Paris. 10:30pm to 5:30am the next day, the 9 episodes in a row. That was surreal, and with absolutely no advertisement the cinema hall was nearly full. I still don't realize what I lived this night 😍😍😍

Who knew that the first almost unanimously liked videogame adaptation would be a MOBA? I didn't.
I think its hard to achieve this same succes as arcane for any videogame adaption.
The problem is non MOBA game mostly only have a few characters unlike MOBA games with lot of character and their own unique background stories. Even the writing is good to be a movie, you will also need a good worldbuilding to get the perfect videogame adaption. And Arcane just achieved it.
League of Legends at that, never would I have thought "enjoy" and "LoL" would be in the same sentence.
But Castlevania came before Arcane...

I like the transition from neatness to messiness, for lack of better terms; at the beginning, the busts and statues and bas reliefs are all tidy, and it looks like they’re being made by magic. (See how the rough stone behind young Vi’s statue transforms into Powder’s statue, and how the rough carving of Viktor’s statue shifts into a much more refined version as if by magic.)
After Silco’s appearance, every statue is surrounded by chips of stone flying everywhere. It’s like carving statues (or whatever action or event the carving of the statues is supposed to represent) is messy work, and Silco exposed how messy it really is.
The first 12 seconds of the opening has the vibe of the Daredevil opening.

I still can't get over the fact that all the statues are static until Silco's moves, taking action and putting everything in motion. Ridiculously telling intro.
I'm very glad that Riot chose Piltover-Zaun for their very first animated series. Mainly because we relate to the characters because they're all human(well except for some like Prof. Heimer) and even the villains makes sense and makes you root for them. The marginalization of the two cities is greatly portrayed, just like the real world. Plus all characters have good writing that makes even non-league players appreciate because the other regions will be very much confusing to newbies cuz their stories are too complicated and fantasized for them to relate and understand. Also loved how it highlights the good and the worst in man. This series puts modern Japanese anime into shame. Remarkably a 10/10.

something I realized after watching this for a million times, notice that Vi's color is like the shimmer (violet) while Jinx has the color of hextech (blue) but the irony is they are in the opposite side of their colors.
I just spent all night and morning bingewatching arcane... I was blown away by this piece of art.
This is such a powerful visual introduction to the show. Its very powerful storytelling. It evokes such emotional response too. Gives me chills each time and stimulation.

The Vi vs Powder statue phase + "say no way" Enemy's ending part is the peak goosebumps. Damn, how to be THIS GOOD at making opening. Arcane and Narcos have like unskippable opening because THEY'RE TOO GOOD. 0:51 until 1:00 is the MONEY SHOT right there!!!

Through a perspective of someone who has not played League of Legends at all, this is an amazing series, like they gave each character a story to tell, from the mentally scared Powder/Jynx, to a desperate Viktor who is searching a cure, and the animation in my opinion is my favourite animation I have ever seen

Arcane es una obra maestra en todos los aspectos:
- buena musica
- la calidad de animacion es de 10/10
- la historia es buena
- los personajes son "realistas"(en el sentido que tienen aspectos buenos y aspectos malos)
- la lógica es buena(si haces algo malo se te regresa y todo tiene una consecuencia)
-y...! Sobre todo es muy disfrutable, entiendes todo a la perfección.
es buena la construccion que hacen, pero el problema fue en quien enfocaron al menos esta temporada, siendo jinx un personaje excelente como complemento pero terrible para darle un primer plano. la construccion geopolitica entre zaun y piltover si que fue excelente en todos los sentidos.
Pero a mi por ese detalle le resto demasiados puntos a partir del capitulo 4 siendo igual de interesante la parte de jayce, heimer y Victor que soporto el peso de la serie, restandole demasiado la parte de jinx/Vi luego de la muerte de Vander. la serie es un 8 de 10 solido pero no una obra maestra
