How To Make Good Dinosaur Stk's (Stick Nodes)

- Forgot to mention one thing in the video, always use a skeletal it's better to use a skeletal as a ref for dinosaur stk's because it's easier to trace with.
The stk in the video is lazy so don't expect me to get rusty in stk making,
Next video will be a carnotaurus stk Showcase video, and no it's not the one in this video but a way better version.
If your wondering why the neck detailing tutorials is not in here. It's because I don't want to pain myself editing the entire video and then waiting for it to export, second is because of functioning, if i put lots of line details, it won't function well and adding details with main nodes sended in the back and then detailing using send forward would take a while, and that is why.
Also here is another tip, this goes for every stk, Do not use triangles when your making something sharp, use small rounded segments instead like i do in the video.

I’m watching this because I can5 find any dragon tutorials and this is the closest thing I can find xD
When I used to make one colored dinosaurs (no detail nothing) I always used a triangle to make it sharp, now from reading the description I use small rounded segments.
Thx for this, I created a detailed Carnotaurus Stk.
I couldn’t make the tail or the neck so I really needed this

tip use different stks for example use the head for 1 stk the tail for 1 and so forward for all limbs you feel you need to do for that

Hi! This tutorial is amazing and I was wondering, if I draw all the parts in another app. Is it possible to import them into stick nodes and then add a basic skeleton for movement? Or is the only way to make them is in the app from scratch?
The only way is to make them from scratch. I hope stuff like these do happen in the future tho
Or, you can use sprites, you basically cut any parts of the stks you want to move. It's like joining figures, it doesn't look as good as in stks but it works

I tried making a baby blacktip reef shark stick nodes, and when i finished, it has several i stead of a few joints and it scrambled up, how do ppl do this?

I Use Lighter Lines.
Problem. When you make a body there's so many nodes that when you move it it just scrambles. How did you make the body just like 1 or 2 nodes?

Just go download some of them in the stick nodes website, also there is this feature where you can colour backgrounds, you should enable the colour gradients
One question.whenever I try make necks and connect legs and all that the nodes are always messy and it leaves spaces
You have to make sure to use the largest segment possible (especially in the part you want to move) that fill the gaps of the ref you're using, otherwise the stk is just gonna break

@@TheV1rus I suppose that you don't need to move where you should put the neck or legs. Keep the part to place (where you finished making bendable segments) the same

No,the segments that are static are the main ones (they are usually a blue circle instead of gray) the one you use to pose
Ayo so the my problem isn't the details is the connect the jaw and head to move them and the other things
You just make a main node on the right side of the head, it has to be close to the jaw to (same side), and im sorry for late response cause i didn't receive a notification
