Zambia, Tanzania pen maize deal

(NAIS) Zambia and Tanzania have signed a contract for the sale of 650,000 metric tonnes of Non-Genetically Modified Organisms GMO maize valued at 227 Million US dollars.
Speaking during the signing ceremony in Dar-es-Salaam, Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO said the agreement is a government to government transaction that seeks to address the food security situation in Zambia
