What a gret car to do this road trip😊 Ambleside along with Grasmere & Keswick are just places that ooze beautiful streets & so many things to see & do...something for everyone! The Hyundai must have been a pleasure to drive & the seats with ventilation now that's what ya call being spoilt 😊😊 look forward to part 2 .excellent planet auto 🚘 👌 p.s even the weather played ball ❤
Thank you @davidmarshall5596 - it really was a fantastic road trip. The Ioniq 6 is a pleasure, and made cruising around The Lakes a breeze (see what I did there, lol) Glad you enjoyed it. *A
Well spotted and I think you'll find, Richard it's more like 19 years. The C219 came out in 2004, and one of Ben's friend's calls it a squashed Beetle. Hyundai seem to have capitalised on the design. It's one of those Mercs that stands out for obvious reasons. We think it looks very Porsche at the back. Thank you, @richardhowlett9424
Great road trip, I'll be doing the same in a few weeks in an EV, have you got more details on the 74 mile trail you did? Details of the route, where the chargers are on route? Thanks
Hi @AWAsh9 - here's a the link for the Lake District EV Trail visit: www.visitlakedistrict.com/explore/travel/go-ev-for-2023 Also, here is the Green Car Guide Lake District EV Trail review: www.greencarguide.co.uk/features/lake-district-ev-trail/ Both have details of the road trip we took. Let us know how you get on when you traverse it. *A
Really enjoyed this one. A great blend of EV, lovely scenery and useful info for visiting the Lake District. Thanks! BTW: I've heard it said that virtual mirrors have no blind spots. Without getting too technical (you'd lose me very quickly), do you think you'd agree?
Great to hear Avid, this was one memorable adventure, and the 6 what a car - it was certainly more preferable to mirrors, something I never thought I’d say. The coverage seemed to show everything however as we had BSM, I don’t know, thanks for the idea for a new video 😀
Wow great video, we are here in florida, and over on this side of the pond we are soooo used to seeing LONDON proper, we hardly get to see your BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE. ❤ enjoy your I6. We have I6 also. Luv ya man!.
This seems to be a challenge with every vehicle coming out at the moment. Some manufacturers do allow for these things to be turned down or off, Hyundai don’t seem to be one them (the forums have some brutal workarounds!) Thank you.
Hi guys that was a great vlog, can`t say we`ll be enjoying the IONIC6 any time soon ,just looked it up on the Motability site and it`s £ 7,999 advance payment, Phew!
Wow the Ioniq 6 - my dream EV. Cant wait to get one!
Thank you Sphinxx - awesome car, keep us posted 😀

@@PlanetautoUK now I'm impressed with that play on words 😁❤💯
Couldn't resist, lol *A
Excellent run, must try that in my old Honda one day! There's a sort of Porsche look to the back 3/4 view.
Thank you Ambien, it’d be a nice run in that, that’s my thought too, fancy ev.
Yes, the Koreans are known for copying other manufacturers. Nothing new.
That silver one looks so retro. Reminds be of the Bond aston martin db 60s version.
Now that's a nice car! Glad you enjoyed the road trip @lilth501
Nice little drive , I’ve not been up there for many years , sadly ! The car looks rather like the Merc CLS from 16 years ago !
