- Photographing the South West Coast of The Isle of Lewis. Beautiful beaches and rugged coastline and a road that meanders South towards Harris but ends before getting there amongst stunning scenery. The video explores why the road ends abruptly and photographs the epic Landscape.

Come back in late autumn, winter and early spring when we have the equinoxial gales...80 - 90 mph winds, icy rain going sideways and huge seas crashing onto the rocks and beaches. That's when I love it most!

I am so grateful I learned to listen to my intuition, so clearly, that I moved here without knowing there were any beaches near me! And, there are so many gorgeous beaches in Uig, it is truly amazing to me this beauty. Thank you for sharing this. Home. Yay!!

On a summer holiday in the Hebrides, I chose to pay for a ride with the postie in North Uist and Benbecula. One road that seemed to have no further destination in Benbecula - that was for me 'the back of beyond'.
