Well Stel, let’s hope Mickey recovers as soon as he can. It’s a godsend looking at the car that he’s alive. We wish him all the very best in his recovery and his family the strength and fortitude to deal with the situation. We love Antonio a real West Ham legend! Our prayers are with you! 🙏⚒⚒⚒
We all obviously wish him well and a full speedy recovery ASAP. He's obviously not going to play again this season (and possibly at all ?).So as hard as this sounds when his contract is up in the summer then we thank him and say goodbye.
@@WESTHAMVOICE I'm sure you would Stel, but that was the furthest thing from the above poster's mind… I'll stop now Stel because I'm not doing myself or your channel any favours. Have a good week mate.
If Michael Carrick was not an ex West Ham player he would not be in contention, even if I would not be against the appointment. Potter is better than what we have at the moment.
Let's look at the positives. No passengers. No other car involved. But be serious Stel, he'll never play again for West Ham at a 35 year old next season.
I think wherever Potter goes next, he will do well. Potter took over from Chris Hughton, who got sacked because Brighton were struggling to stay in the premier league. The Brighton stability never happened until Potter went there. He was also starting too get some results at Chelsea before he was fired, just like Pochettino ⚒ worth a gamble on a small contract to show us if he has it.
I’m not convinced by potter to be honest… I could be wrong but he didn’t do as well at Brighton as many say. Certainly he stabilised them but you can see subsequent managers have done well since he left
Had a fractured femur 44years ago Stel, lost half an inch of my leg but what’s in Antonio’s favour is that medicine and physio are a lot more advanced. Even with that I don’t think he will be back this season if at all but I know it’s harsh but no way I would be offering a twelve month extension.
Also didn't Terzic fall out with Fullkrug. Maybe we do need an English head coach next. Just a thought Stel.
Yes apparently he fell out with a few players at the Dortmund last season There is something missing at the club that’s for sure mate - but I look at other clubs with foreign coaches and others do seem to get it right
G'day Stel. Yes, we wish him a good recovery for the long term. Whether that's playing football is neither here nor there. His general well being is more important. "Lower leg injury." The bones of the lower leg are the tibia and fibula. The upper leg bone is the femur. A fractured femur can be life threatening.
That’s probably why then it was first reported as life threatening mate My understanding is it’s below the hip to be exact Apologies if I mentioned the wrong thing Best wishes to him indeed
Antonio’s situation is desperately sad for him, I was reading after his last accident at Christmas 2019, he struggled with depression and considered giving up football, ironically this accident could force his hand as I don’t believe his mental strength could overcome his physical ability after this type of injury, I truly hope I’m wrong. I cannot believe Potter would agree a short term deal with the media knowledge Carrick could be their ultimate long term plan. WH have history doing a similar thing with Moyes then Pellegrini then back to Moyes. Potter needs a platform to elevate his career after Chelsea, WH’s setup would suit him to do this, if he was successful and turned WH’s fortunes around by the end of the season, would Brady get her wish, or would Noble get his? Personally if Potter, or whoever, came in the short term and was successful, I don’t believe Sullivan would make the same Pellegrini/Moyes scenario mistake again, regardless if the ‘master plan’ was to bring in another coach, Carrick or maybe Allegri as reported by overseas sources. Personally I don’t know who would be the right person to take us forward after Lopetegui, I just know something needs to be done, unfortunately with his father’s situation and Christmas around the corner, Sullivan would look brutal in some people’s eyes outside of WH, but hard decisions have to be made, and like Moyes, it’s been allowed to drag on when everyone knew a change was imminent and necessary.
We all wish Antonio all the best mate As for the head coach situation… I’m not a potter fan and it would sound like a desperate measure if he were brought to the club Like you I have no answer as to who I would prefer - every head coach mentioned will have some flaw that fans won’t like

I was hoping I would be seeing a new coach and style when I purchased tonight’s ticket, I’m beginning to regret that now.
If Lop has fallen out with Kudus and Todibo , it was well worth it imho. Kudus is a very talented player but was being greedy and running into blind alleys when a simple ball to a player in space would suffice. Notice that on his return , he passed the ball better. Todibo has a history of bad attitude (if you google search) and it's unacceptable that he has such a low level of fitness , plus he's guilty of making some horrendous lazy errors. Two of which went unpunished by the opposition just a few yards from our goal line, with another outside the box where Forest got a goal from. There are unsubstantiated rumours that he turns up late for training and meetings, so Lop had to give him the hairdryer treatment. Plus I wish Antonio best of luck in his recovery.
I’ve heard the same about Todibo but it’s rumour that’s come from sources which makes me wonder if they’re genuine As for kudus running with the ball is his game and it proved to be so last season when he had a wonderful first season with us All our thoughts are with Antonio

First and foremost, all the best to Antonio. Neither Carrick nor Potter would be my choice. Carrick simply hasn't done enough to warrant it yet. No player will get a testimonial again from our club while Sullivan is in charge, it would cost to much money that’s why Cresswell hasn’t had one. The only way it would happen is it was staged at another venue.
To get the players back on-side and all reading from the same hymn sheet, let's have a Mark Noble - Kevin Nolan co-coaching ticket for the remainder of the season. At the same time have an agreement with Carrick that he will become Manager next season. I say Manager, because I would remove Steidten from his position also.
I genuinely wouldn’t have noble managing the team mate … it’s a West Ham fantasy to have him in charge but I think it would definitely relegate us … but having said that I don’t think noble would even want it Good point about the technical director role - had it worked?
Everyone wants the best of health to Antonio, however, can we separate giving him an extension from our emotions. All PL career players have earned enough money to last the rest of their lives, unlike players from 30+ year ago. We need that £100K a week to go on a player to create our future
