    Dr. Wako,
Thank you again for allowing me to vicariously enjoy your outdoor adventures. I find myself smiling as I listen to the stream and birds in the background as you savor the firebox roasted trout and wish that I was there to hang a hammock and enjoy the scene with you. Happy fishing.

Thank you. Of course I have my job for money too. After the job I enjoy home bushcraft with FireBox. When a police car passed by my house, the officer neglected my fire making in the town. FireBox makes fire in a right size.

This was an excellent video. I'm a very keen flyfisherman and this is exactly what I'd like to experience. Go to wilderness, keep flyfishing for the day, get a couple fish to eat, cook them and rice,... coffee... excellent... just great.

Thank you for this video. I'm always looking for videos like this to watch while I'm at work (Don't tell my boss). But if I can't be out in nature, it is wonderful to watch videos like this. It helps me feel peaceful in the stressful office.

Man, you look like you're having fun. In Canada (and other places I'm sure), we'd call that a "shore lunch" and it's the best way to enjoy your catch! I loved seeing the Japanese version. Man, I love that firebox - I must get one! Thanks for the awesome video.

We have big rivers on this island. But my fishing taste is like this. My target trouts are up to 15 inches by fly fishing. The large trouts and salmons which swim up the river from the sea are protected and we cannot catch them in the river. Many anglers fish them from the sea shore in autumn. Thanks.

No. We only cannot make big open fire in our frontyard in a city. If we did so, officers or firefighters would come. I used FireBox to grill fish because it was expected to do it better than regular open fire to control the fire size easily. Thanks.

The water of this river is a bit colored brown. It's because of the cold weather there. Organic matters are not resolved completely. So I don't drink directly from the river. But I don't need to filter before cooking. The river runs exactly in the same mountain where I hunt deer in snow winter. Thanks.

Do you need to filter your water before cooking with it from that stream? And are these the same woods in which you hunt during the Fall and Winter?

I like 7.5 feet for #4-5 for dry fly. I have 7.0 feet for #3-4 for narrower and steeper streams and 8.0 feet for #4-5 for nymph fly as well. My rods are all 5 piece compact ones for small trouts. I always need to carry it in my rucksack by walk to the river. Rivers around here are like that. Thanks.
