Cool stuff, I'm gonna try to implement some of the stuff you did in this video. For the first 2 mix-ups in this vid, how early do you have to jump cancel the dash and what at spacings does it work best?
After a throw is most common but you can do it basically anytime. I’m pressing 6+dash macro, then jump canceling with 9, then do a quick 214S. It’s a hard motion but worth practicing.
quick question, what is the input set up for Mist finer dash Kara cancel into super. i have seen Johnny do it before but have never been able to pull it off myself.
I've noticed less fast RC on H Deal into S.MF, is it for consistency? I have noticed I've input it too close to the ground and just get the landing recovery of MF, wondering if its the same for you
Dash change alone is pretty big since it affects both neutral and setups. Having access to dash momentum gives us a new crossup off sweep, allows us to get close enough for TK SMF > Turn Up off more of our midscreen knockdowns, and helps us catch backdashes when going for Turn Up oki at longer ranges. The PMF knockback change also helps with midscreen combo consistency which isn't as flashy but is still nice.
@@Zato-1GGSTIt was a jump cancel off of his forward dash. Try doing 66(or dash macro)>9>214s. There should be a slight delay between when you cancel your dash and when you input mist finer if you want it to cross up
