So THIS is the "beautiful blonde TV star from gossip girls" who my friends who work at Versailles saw this spring! Given that she's the sole support of her kids, and the tradition of having the mother's care be given priority, it seems a sham that the courts are claiming to give her "50-50" rights while she's got to work to pay off all the deadbeat dad's bills. Sounds exactly like the book/movie on the French running off with Ameican kids in "The Divorce" with Kate Hudson.
This is really terrible! Kelly is visibly stressed and rather distraught. In South Africa, such a ruling is highly unlikely. Especially when it comes to visa fraud. I don't see why the kids couldn't have stayed in the US and Kelly could've sent them to France to see their father over summer and any other holidays, whenever there was the chance. As it turns out he was granted 50/50 custody because she tried to alienate him from ever seeing his children. She did not tell him when his daughter was born, he found out on facebook. She refused to put his name on her birth certificate as well. The reason he was deported was because she accused him of dealing drugs and weapons in South Africa, and then called ICE on him.
I have yet to find an article that is about him. All I know is that he is a business man from Germany.

So THIS is the "beautiful blonde TV star from gossip girls" who my friends who work at Versailles saw this spring! Given that she's the sole support of her kids, and the tradition of having the mother's care be given priority, it seems a sham that the courts are claiming to give her "50-50" rights while she's got to work to pay off all the deadbeat dad's bills. Sounds exactly like the book/movie on the French running off with Ameican kids in "The Divorce" with Kate Hudson.

This is really terrible! Kelly is visibly stressed and rather distraught. In South Africa, such a ruling is highly unlikely. Especially when it comes to visa fraud. One can only hope that justice will prevail. The ideal will always be co-parenting, but regardless of this, a child needs to be with their mother, especially in their formative years.

I know sometimes the father is the best place for a child. What I do know and YOU and your cohorts do not seem to know is that this is not a place to further your cause. Well, it's her fault.
And like a lot of women you tear other women down for no other reason than they are female. I don't know what kind of people these two parents are and NEITHER DO YOU. But whatever her claims were against him the USA wouldn't permanently ban someone if they didn't find some truth in it. I think whatever their faults they're both probably good parents, but it was wrong to force the kids to move to a new country/culture/school/EVERYTHING when they had lived in the US all their lives.
Sorry Allison you seem to be making a lot of statements about who you know and what happen, but no facts to back it up. In people magazine they reference her needing to assist him in getting his visa reinstated, one can only concluded that she played a hand in getting revoked. If this were not true she could hold them libel. Furthermore, she is seeking the spot light on this issue. The woman has money, she's the mother, she had primary custody, and still lost. She had to really screw up.
If he lost his visa he must have been doing something to be barred??? I lived in the US for over 20 years with permanent residence, didn't do anything wrong & my status was taken from me. Please stop being so intolerant. And to top it we are talking about 2 children here.

I don't see why the kids couldn't have stayed in the US and Kelly could've sent them to France to see their father over summer and any other holidays, whenever there was the chance. Yes I understand the judge was making it 50/50 but Kelly still brings the kids back to the US although they reside in France. Daniel can't come to the US but he could have the kids back in France with him. There's no reason for the kids to have to move to France especially when Daniel is German not French. This whole case infuriates me.

On top of that she made up false accusations that he was involved in some drug business to make his case worse. I guess because back then she was in a big tv show and her status she mightve thought she was gonna get away with it and have the judges believe it and not investigate it until it was proven false. SHE LIED. She conspired about him. Still got 50/50 consent custody but because of the deportation she herself caused she's now paying for it. Karma is indeed a bitch. I hope this is the start of a new standard that gives father's joint or primary custody in most cases. Fathers have better education, jobs and money than mothers thus they are better parents for their Sons.

And, honestly, him being barred from the U.S. works unfavorably for Kelly so it would be absolutely ridiculous for her to have taken such action. The ruling was outrageous considering the kids' whole lives are here.
