Me too biggest bass I've ever caught was in March 1st cast bam 4th cast bam. Just out of a little mud hole retention pond. Unreal thumped it hard. Can't wait to go back in March.
#tightline it’s awesome to see someone nearby sharing this information. I’m still in my first year of bass fishing and your videos have really helped guide me in the right direction.
welcome to the game this is also my first year and ya his vids are extremely informative, check out his earlier videos they will absolutely help you catch more bass
#tightline I love fishing this time of year. your videos of you out on the water while giving us actual tactics and how to use them makes me want to go try it right now. I love throwing my big baits and dropshotting right now, but I use the Armor Shad and do this sometimes. Not enough, but sometimes. Keep on trucking big guy. Thanks for all the info.
I definitely like how u take the time and really get into all the details. Very informational and enjoyed learning a new technique! Thanks brother! Very nice
Fishing isn’t a sport for me it’s my therapy for all my pain day in and day out, fishing in the winter months has been so rewarding and it because of people like you Dr. Bass Geek. Thanks for all the info.
#tightline love the simplicity of your teaching and passing along valuable tips! I’m going to work on this technique between now and February! Thanks for the help!
Man. This is one of the best #tightline videos I’ve seen. From the gear to where to cast and boat position. I’ve used the technique a little, but with an open hook and donated quite a few jig heads to the lake. 😅
#100percentwatchsquad man!!! I was looking around trying to figure out where that sound was coming from and then you mentioned the plane, lol! I know a great place on my lake over a submerged road bed on my lake that tight line technique will work perfectly! #tightline
I've landed great fish on very light fluorocarbon including big channel catfish in trees that they could have used to bust off but didn't. Thanks for the fishing videos.
#tightline. Great info to know Hank! Love it when new videos come out. Will definitely be ordering the new shirt. That shallow Bomber Flat A is gonna be a winner, it now has the BassGeek Magic Touch on it. You Rock Hank, keep up the great work. #100%watchsquad.
#tightline I love this technique Hank. I have caught more fish this year tightlining than I have all other techniques. It gets bit when nothing else works. Thanks as always for the great content.
Great #tightline info! I look forward to trying this out on some East Tn spots in the coming weeks. Did okay with a cranking a rock crawler last week, which was a pleasant surprise!
#tightline Man..I REALLY appreciate these videos! I'm a total newbie, just trying to learn... so videos like yours keep me from wasting countless hours out on the water just chasing my tail!
Really liking the bomber baits. Thanks for putting me on to them. I really wish I could get a flat shallow running in 2inch. Winter here have a 5cm / 2inch max length on baits. That flat bomber looks legit. Thanks for the tightlining insights as well. A bit tougher to do well from the bank of course.
I'm going to a great bass pond tomorrow but all of our fishing will be vertical through ice holes. I love the blade baits in the cooler water especially.
#tightline great video this week never tried tight line before excited to give it a shot. I live on a very clear lake. And I struggle when it gets below 50° keep the good stuff coming, sir.#100%watchsquad
Keep teaching Professor Hank and keep growing 😜🍀🎣🍀 I’ve been fishing this technique since the 70’s and back then we could buy curly tail grubs by the pound👍🤷🏻♂️ and my favorite was a 3” triple tail ….. but they really didn’t have swimbaits other than the “Banjo Minnows” 😂
@@BassGeek Hank you’re the best , and I always appreciate your replies, and I know you are busy with being the BassGeek, but it’s what sets you above the rest. I’m always rootin’ for your success and I’m still looking forward to joining you on the water one day ✊❤️
thanks so much for the videos, been learning a lot!! Excited to try this out. New to fishing and do a lot of jighead fishing but this will be something new as I tend to float the jigs (32nd &64th oz). Also looking to get out of my comfort zone and spend some time trying out hard baits - my end of year/new year goal. #tightline
Good stuff…. Here n Delaware it’s cold I’m gonna go out sometime this week try pick some largemouth out of Haven Lake water was mid 40s I think couple weeks ago so it should be low 40s or mid to upper 30s n our water now
@@BassGeek yes sir I’d say so looks awesome I need to expand on my techniques a lot more!! I’ve learn a lot from you I appreciate what you do!! And I’m just over in Kentucky so all your stuff translates very well in my bodies of water!!
I do this technique with something called a "hover shot" using a 90 degree jig hook and putting a nail weight in the front, I can also hop it off the bottom and it has a spiral fall similar to a tube.
#tightline. This is the exact method I use for stripers off the jetties and sweeping through pilings. Very effective, it helps to have very sensitive line. In fast water, I use 10-15 lb braid with a 6' leader. Will be interesting to use my comfort method in fresh water, now that I live near a lake. It's tough going from saltwater to fresh, but I'm looking forward to it. Your videos help, thanks!
#tightline appreciate the content. I have not done a whole lot of ned rig fishing and am a bank fisher so I have struggled with it. Thanks for the tips.
#TIGHTLINE Hey Hank , Thanks for all the Good Info on this technique today !!! Got to give this a try , my friend !! I Love a Spinning Setup, Med - Moderate Action, 7 to 7'6", and I use a lot of 6 lb. mono and floro line .
Dude. That's a killer box!! I love the Damiki Vault, and you throw in a vision 110 Jr daggum Xmas in November. lol. That is a great spinning combo too, you're right. #100percentwatchsquad #tightline🤘😎🎣
#tightline Great vid...timely content as usual. The retrieve sounds like it's just a hair faster than what Charlie Brewer used to refer to as "polishing the rocks".
I thought I'd continue fishing this yr and not give up so all the ideas keep em coming... although the last 2 weeks Ive caught 1...lol love the shirts btw...#tightline
I fish all year but I’m already looking forward to march.
Me too.
Ain’t this the truth lol, I know I’m not gonna catch anything here in southern WV right now but I still go try 🤣
Me too biggest bass I've ever caught was in March 1st cast bam 4th cast bam. Just out of a little mud hole retention pond. Unreal thumped it hard. Can't wait to go back in March.
The biggest bass I’ve ever caught was in February on watauga lake in Hampton Tennessee on a spro rk55 6.8lbs
I’m looking forward to video game fishing a Damiki

Those countless hours aren't waisted. That is learning and recharging hours. You can learn plenty on your own if you are observant.

I do this technique with something called a "hover shot" using a 90 degree jig hook and putting a nail weight in the front, I can also hop it off the bottom and it has a spiral fall similar to a tube.
