I hate it, I really do. Not having the historic columns really ruins it for me. It's great that a modernized stadium was built of course but I just cannot believe how stupid they were not to add the unique design that old Soldier had.

I ALWAYS HATED the renovated Soldier Field. It is even worse than the New Comiskey thing.

I never knew that there was obstructed views in the historic venue. BTW, How well do you think a CFL team would be accepted in Chicago once the Bears move to Arlington Heights?

I went to the original Soldiers Field, and it was beautiful!
Today, it's a partially torn down, rebuilt, and added-on monstrosity.

I think the new bigger screens created the obstructed view there.
In 2002, the screens were much smaller, fitting inside with the structure. Bigger screens seems to be the trend now .

This is how the 49ers stadium should be placed in SF . Or share with the Giants . Santa Clara is a surrounded by mud and is a heat microwave inside
