Between the two mixed versions, I actually feel like the first has a better match to the feel to the style. The way the second is mixed I feel like would work better with a different beat.
is it good to pan things in all different directions? like nothing in the same area but still close enough to where it doesnt sound too far? i just dont like it when certain things are at the exact same pan.

Clipping is good in modern music mostly in genre like hip hop or trap because of loudness war n achieving some punch in ur drums 🥁
