In France, it is the same. When you pay the police on the spot it is cheaper. If not you go to a tobacco store and you buy a tax stamp for the amount of money indicated in your fine and you send it to your local tax office. And then, if you try to avoid paying your fines or in case of accidents you go to court. I suppose Morocco follows the french laws.

if you dont have money on you, the police will still write you a ticket, confiscate your drivers license and provide you with a temporary drivers license (pretty much just a piece of paper that allows you to drive legally without drivers license), and the expiration date of it is the date when your ticket is due, so you would need to go to the police station to paie your ticket and get your license back (but if an atm is close by you wont need to go through all of this just like elsewhere like france or spain...)

If you get a ticket and can't pay it cash, online or check, the cop will take your license if you did something wrong, or your vehicle registration if something's wrong with the vehicle. They ask what city you want to pick it up from, give you a temporary one, and you got a month to pay. Then you can head to the police station in that city to get it back.

Police presence is everywhere, and it feels like they often stop people without valid reasons, only to later find trivial excuses to issue tickets or fines. That’s why it’s important to think twice before taking your car out. Do the math-if an Uber ride turns out to be more cost-effective and less stressful, it’s probably worth avoiding the hassle and frustration of dealing with corrupt or overzealous officers/police agents.

I receive spams always every day,I don't reply to them, no answer them, no clicking any link, no banking throught phone :

Peace be upon you, my sister. How are you? I hope you are well, healthy and safe. Regarding the message you received, do not worry. It is a normal message from the Tax Department. At the end of the year, taxes must be paid, and this does not include you. Do not worry. It is for people who save money. Taxes of five percent must be paid for drugs.

I am an English teacher, to be honest Erin, most teens love English but it's really tiring for them to learn more than 4 languages! Arabic, French, Amazigh and English, the most important language now is English. When Morocco will realize that and stop teaching the useless French? Nobody knows!
