Does Jesus give everyone their own personal vision? Whenever I am stressed or just want Jesus, I see myself running up to Him and jumping into his arms crying and hugging Him and He either just hugs me back or says "rest my child for I am with you"

Ashley, thank you so much for being real, and sharing your struggles. You touched my heart because the struggle is real. When you started reading from Mark I started to cry because I can't walk on water, and I don't have it all together, but I'm not supposed to. Learning to lean on Jesus is what I'm supposed to do. When I let him get in my boat of crazy circumstances and situations he brings peace. I need to learn to let him in instead of leaning on my own abilities. Thank you once again for coffee and bible time. I am 59 and your relationship with the Lord touches my heart.

Thank you Ashley for being so obedient to God and posting this video. The Lord spoke to me thru this video. I have been in a funk and I couldn't pin point why. I cried out my heart to the Lord this morning. I feel overwhelmed with life, student, a mom, wife, and a baby on the way, my body is changing...so much going on I feel like my time with the Lord is always second in my life I need to fix this. When you put Jesus first everything else will fall into place. His peace is what keeps me sane. He is my anchor that grounds me. These two bible verses were perfect. Thank you! hugs.

Ashley! God bless you, girls. OMG, I was at the same point two years ago, so I can totally understand the struggle. I was dependant on a to do list and I was sinking, too. I started to suffer from anxiety and I had a really bad time for about a whole year. However, it was only in Jesus where I could find peace and balance. He made me new. I always had to have everything planned, but He taught me to leave my planner empty (or almost empty lol). I started to apprecciate His plans for me, to live one day at a time, and to count on his mercy every single day :).... I'll be praying for you, sis! Hugs and Kisses from Venezuela.

Needed to hear this! Its so easy to get caught up in our to do lists, our struggles - all the "why me" moments. But without those struggles we wouldn't see God's amazing power. We wouldn't humble ourselves down & admit without Him we are nothing.

I agree about social media. I rarely go on facebook anymore. I'm sick and tired of it. If I get a notification I go on and check it but that's pretty much it. I can't give up youtube but no instagram for me or twitter or whatever. I could less about selfies, etc. I don't compare too much but actually TV commercials can do that to you too...they can make me depressed sometimes because they're all so fake. Yes Jesus was and is very real and brave is an understatement! I'm older but I have struggles and issues too that I never share so if I didn't have the Lord I don't know how I would survive! When I get overwhelmed (I love that you said sinking...great description) I can talk and cry to Him and I feel better. Mark 6 has always been one of my favorite chapters in the Bible! I needed this today...you were talking to me!
