I never read the comments so someone else may have already said this. But this is one of the movies that spawned from the 60's TV show, "I Spy"! Grew up on it. Great series!

I've seen this movie over 25 times and the part where the bad guy pulls out the masking tape and tapes up the phone still puzzles me to this day.I mean what the hell was that about.

One of my favorite Private investigator film's. Rip Robert Culp and Bill Hickman who was the greatest stunt driver. Who drove in Bullit, The French connection and the 7ups. A few more amazing Private investigator film's that are excellent 👌 are Night Moves 1975, The Long Goodbye 1973 , Klute 1971 ,Harper 1966 and The Drowning pool 1975

Around the 28:45 mark I'm almost 100% certain they're eating hot dogs at World Famous Pinks. They're filming towards the south and on the corner in the background there is a drug store I used to buy comic books at when I was a kid. I have seen quite a few familiar locations in the movie.

I’m enjoying this. The cast is filled with many (mostly) television actors and other characters. Fast pace, back and forth with various scenarios and directed by Culp who stars with his buddy Bill Cosby. These two men broke barriers and I applaud them both. Yes I’m a Cosby fan and Culp is always good. Enjoy an old fashioned “whodunit” 1970s Los Angeles
