Back in the day, I didn’t respect Dan’s vocals. I always thought “here comes a slow sad song” when a track came on he sang lead in. But now that I’m older and I look back on it, Dan was phenomenal at writing and performing. “Take Lots With Alcohol” and “Every Thug Needs A Lady” are beautifully written songs and Dan sang them so well that I literally cannot imagine Skiba trying to make those songs mean half as much, it just wouldn’t quite fit. Dan’s the fucking man.

@TSBASSIST very complementary singing and playing. any trio needs to have that strong bassist to make the band work. CREAM, Green Day, and Nirvana just to name a few... and my man JPJ
this is slithly different than the album version. In the album version they say "my own eyes" instead of my stoned eyes" and i think there were a couple other differences maybe.
