The song „I Just Want to Make Love to You” is a 1954 blues song written by Willie Dixon, first recorded by Muddy Waters, and released as "Just Make Love to Me". The song reached number four on Billboard magazine's R&B Best Sellers chart. In 1960, Etta James recorded the song for her debut album At Last!. Her rendition also served as the B-side to her hit of that name. In 1996, it was released as a single in the UK and other European markets after being featured in a Diet Coke advertising campaign. Angelina performs this song in Etta's James version.
This was a tremendous Concert and every song was sensational. In particular, 'Cry Me A River' was a classic performance and you got a taste of what the trombone player can do. Wait till you hear his solo during the song. To say Angelina stepped it up to another level was oh so true. I think she sang about 10 songs or more.
That by all accounts was one of the most amazing concerts on earth... Thank god for a Phones I tell yeah. Also if you didn't know she changed the lyrics from "Make love to you" to "Loving you."... Maybe one day when she's older, we will get to hear the original lyrics. Although I don't know if my heart will be able to handle that. :)

Please listen again to her power sections here, because I feel like you somehow missed it. At least to ME, what she did vocally here is totally crazy. This was the first time, and also the last time I think, that I have heard her use her voice in this way. Which I think is good, because your voice WILL take a beating, regardless of how skilled of a singer you are. I guess you will see more of her performances from this concert, as she did a lot of songs, and quite a few of them rank HIGH up there among my favorites. The concert arena is called Prøysentunet, and the venue is called Prøysenfestivalen. Attach one of those, preferably Prøysenfestivalen to her name and see what you find. I know that you will love all of it, as she was amazingly good here. And if you do, also pay attention to the man on the trombone. He is an incredibly skilled trombone player!
