Thank you for this!! I live in Huntington Beach born & raised in Southern California but I’m moving to VA in February. My bf is in the Navy, because of your video I’ve been taking notes on where we should live in VA. If you have any other advice for me, it would be greatly appreciated, but I appreciate your videos very helpful, thank you.

I love your videos and am using them in an upcoming move...but please manage that reverb a bit. There's almost more echo than primary voice.

Thanks a lot for your feedback - that's something I'll be fixing soon. I actually just moved myself and in the meantime the room has bad acoustics and working on fixing that soon. Thanks again for this and if you have any questions about moving to Hampton Roads feel free to ask!

    Good, informative video!
I see you left Portsmouth out of the mix. Good thing. Portsmouth has the highest property taxes, and the most corrupt, useless local government you could ask for!
Just take a ride through Portsmouth... you'll need a wheel alignment afterwards!

There are pros & cons for living in every city, county, or state in this country. This video is just spotlighting Virginia Beach and its the opinion of just one person out of over 450 thousand people that live here.

where should i get investment property in Norfolk?

Great question - there are a variety of places that might be most profitable in Norfolk, but what the area you might want the most to buy could be depending on what your goals are. I like Ghent a lot for the functionality of the area and demand along with options for multi-family houses as well as attached and single family houses. It's just more expensive. Or, you can pivot to a place near the north side of Norfolk near Ocean View that has some similar styles of residences (multifamily) but also close to beach. If you're looking more for spots close to schools, Old Dominion has some neighborhoods near it that people do really well with (Larchmont, Lamberts Point are two examples), or other functional houses near the military bases (NOB or Little Creek) where you can often find houses under $300K that are near the bases. So there are a lot of options. The drawbacks might be if you like the styles of houses that are built in Norfolk (older houses often) or flood zones (especially on the west side of Norfolk).

@@samsansalone We like to stay below 400k, easy to find good tenants, stable income , good appreciation , low hoa fee and newer houses.
