I love it when they put the coolers next to the fryers. I could actually see the greasy steam blowing through the condenser on your video. Great video!👍
yeah...then after they give you free lunch and sign the bill its can you look at my other cooler not working expecting you not to charge them for it...no thanks...keep your free lunch
I am working on a Beverage Air two door cooler. The evaporator fans are not turning. I see that power is getting to the fan motors, but for some reason the fans are not turning on. Any suggestions?
Likely a generic constant cut in control rancor, danfoss all make them. Cut in at 40, slightly adjustable cut out temp, measures coil temp on off cycle air defrost systems.
Nice greasy slick. Condenser on the top. Hard to clean. If condenser on the bottom slide it out soak with coil cleaner and hot water with garden hoses clean right up
Ok with voltage to tstat and tstat on, the voltage goes through the contacts, with your voltage meter connected as mine was. If the thermostat is good you would read 0 volts. Both lines being the same, as the contacts are made in tstat. If it’s bad you will read line voltage.
Just changed a compressor on a gilato machine (Grindmaster 3311). Did a pressure test with nitrogen and it held for 24 hours... no change. Today I tried to pull a vacuum using the vp85 with two appion core remover and two 3/8 appion vacuum hoses with fresh vacuum pump oil. Did a triple evacuation broke each time with nitrogen. The problem I’m having is it pulls down fast and then it just stalls around 1500 microns. Ran the vacuum for about two hours. Any ideas on what might be happening. Thanks.
if it held good pressure for 24 hours, then you added valve core tools and other hoses for the vacuum, I'd look at those first for a leak with bubbles under nitrogen pressure. probably find a hose end or core tool leaking, heck even the micron gauge or pump could be a culprit. anywhere there's a o-ring, gasket or seal or assembled joint on hose/tools

I was chocking on it. Lol
Oops, some of the dust bunnies and rodent poo came off of my last Victory fridge just like this and went straight into the fry oil.
All that oil in the air anyway. Maintenance

Nice troubleshooting Super Dave ... Greasy elbows and all ... Lol ...
Gotta love those reach ins next to deep fryers😝
great troubleshooting skill set
🤯 What a mess. Good work getting it going though!
Strawberry on ice eh ? I thought vanilla latte was his drink 🤣😂
Great knowledge
Mr tippy has a new big brother. The TP-XXL. Looks good! Not as tippy. 😂
Oh I’ll check that
The ol tar arm
I was waiting for you to get the torch in there to fix the loop I wanted to see how big the grease fire was going to be.
😂🤣😂🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
just light it on fire first, when it's all burnt off then go repair it :))
@@throttlebottle5906 WooooF!
When is it not those condensate loops 😆
Exactly
I usually dump soapy water in the condensate pan and look for the tiny bubbles
Every time I watch one of your videos, I spend the rest of the day singing “we love the lurkers “
May be is better to remove the whole condenser and clean it outside or on a sink.Good video Dave
That’s the plan when I replace loop
more like the whole unit LOL
The vibe is good
what does the energy saving switch do Dave? Bev air reminds me of Victory
Good one Dave
Hey Dave, if you don't mind me asking what was the quote you gave them on that? Thanks!
Can’t remember to long ago

Was there ever a fan shroud on that condenser? Seems like you would not get much air flow through the coil without one.
Dave, what’s that stat you used? I’m new to reach in stuff and need to know what to truck stock. Any feedback is appreciated.

Is it possible to use coil cleaner and wash these top compressor units?
Nice greasy slick. Condenser on the top. Hard to clean. If condenser on the bottom slide it out soak with coil cleaner and hot water with garden hoses clean right up
Who makes and where do you buy that temp control. I only see the in a box ranco brand
I open this video hoping to learn how to open the evaporator lid.
I'm having trouble with that one right now. Trying to replace a faulty fan motor
Did you get the lid open? 4 clips at lid
the ol bev air E series...always bad t-stat or fan delay switches on the freezers...the freezers with the copeland k-body comps always leaked

It's a crusty one Mr. Grinch
They should just rename that energy saving switch the excessive food spoilage switch :p
Agree
What the heck is that supposed to do anyway?

Possible leak. Or refrigerant boiling off from compressor oil.
