This car can do 352hp without any extra strain to the powertrain with a simple engine tune. The 2L engine is the same as in the 330i, but it's power is reduced to 184 from 252. Add the 110 electric hp and you get 352hp
only in the early models that have the b48b20B engine. later models got the b48b20A engine.
@@koslan2646 I can do it on my BMW 530e November 2020 model. Even the BMW dealer can do it for me but the warranty will be voided.
i know that you can tune them both. just saying that the g20 330e 2019 and early 2020 came with the same engine as the 330i. b48b20B engine. later they got b48b20A engine that is a bit weaker. bsr tune gives about 400hp for the b48b20bB.
Yeah, let's tune the car and lose warranty, registration and insurance...

Slower than the cheapest entry level base Tesla Model 3. I can see the reason why many people have stopped buying a BMW. Also, they have big depreciation.
@@borinvlogs while you are correct factually on the acceleration, respectfully, you have missed some points. Tesla cars are impressive 0-60, for their tech and efficiency. That is beyond doubt. But there are other reasons to buy cars. Build quality, dynamics, soul etc. the last one is very personal, but there is also no doubt that, in terms of dynamics and build, Tesla cannot yet match a nice BMW. I’m fairly neutral on both brands, and would certainly consider Tesla, but as an appliance. A very impressive appliance. But not something I’d love. That is why I might still consider, also, a BMW, or Porsche, or other marque.

Nope this is slow for a 3 series with 292hp, and any awd bmw isnt a real bmw, check the older models 330 that is fast
Managed 5.6 0-100 so far, RWD thai spec S Sport (19"). Tricky to get perfect launch.

Interesting with my G20 330e RWD I managed a time of 5.83 0-100km/h without LC with the 19” RFT tires. With 1ft roll out it was 5.57 0-100km/h measured with a dragy as well

will be exactly the same, battery never discharges to 0, this one has 13.4 kWh, but usable is 10.4kWh, so in reserve still is about 3kWh, which is for keeping factory performance.
@@arturmorkis3253 On open road/highway, car will eventually select to run only on ICE. And due to power weight ratio, acceleration times may vary.

There's a 320e with a 2L petrol that does 204hp. What should've they call this? 320e+, 320e 292hp? Even the 330i is a 2L. It's a naming scheme based on the power of the car.

Since the mid 70s the two last numbers meant displacement/litre and not power bro, what the fuck are you talking about? 70s: 316, 1.6l. 320, 2.0l. 323, 325, 328, 330. All the way to the e90, thats what that shit meant(excluding the M's). This number=litre system worked fine and it meant something. So a 525d meant it was a series 5 model, 2.5litre Diesel engine. 525i meant it was petrol. 330i meant it was a model 3, with a 3.0litre (2998) Inline 6 gasoline. Etc... 720/30/45/60 etc all these signified the same shit. It never meant power, i don't know where you get this bullshit. Also, you are aware that BMW underrates the fuck out of the power output on their vehicles, so the shit you say would be baseless even if true.
Anyway.
I believe there should be the M340e xDrive.
Would be too fast compared to 745e etc😅

Interesting how the xDrive version has a different engine from the rwd model. And top speed is limited at 10km lower compared to the rwd model.
Would love to see a tuned rwd G20 330e as they get delivered with the 330i engine (B48B20B) and is known to get well over 400hp/700nm.

My Activehybrid 5 is faster. I wish the 545e would come to the US. The 330e and 530e just dont feel quick enough especially when looking for a spirited drive or passing. Fantastic economy though.
330e Rwd Stage 1 400hp to 430hp is where it's at it's how the car should be from factory but it would out perform a 340i from the dig for less money so they cant be doing that.
The 100-200 is not this bad for "only" 292 hybrid-hp
maybe they faced traffic who knows. We have to see the review but for a hybrid its slow 100-200

@@sylvaind.6786 every european brand has 2.0L 4 cylinders engines. Golf R, all hot hatches are faster with less hp, even a skoda superb 2.0 tsi does 100-200 in 17secs. Hybrids are shit and that 3 series isnt making 292HP probably 230hp they lie with those electric HP

And like Addingup wrote on higher speed the electric motor is not helping very much cause the rpms of him are getting to high -> like in a conventional engine the torque getting lower. Than you have only additional weight which doesn't help to improve the 100-200 time

With stage 1+ (ecu + decat downpipe) you can get over 400hp
Not with the xDrive model. They have the 320i B48B20A engine. Max is maybe 390hp. The rwd model gets between 400-440hp on Stage 1.
How does this bloody Launch Control work? Cant get mine to work. Engine warm, Sport ExtraBoost mode with gear lever switched to left, foot on brake and gas pedal pressed fully down (kickdown)?? 2022 G21 330e xdrive,

Why is this car so slow from 200 to topspeed? I have the 330i G21 with „only“ 256 HP and it goes easily to 253 km/h (speedo).
It cuts electric power at the top end.
I'm gonna miss those top speed runs. Speed limit is coming soon. Rip.

It’s pretty quick but seems to be a little bit slower than the non hybrid 330i? 0The G20 (sedan) 330i was 0,4 sec faster 100 - 200. So the times are probably the same between a 330i and 330e touring.
0,4sec, such a huuuuuuuuge difference...
It's probably due to weight. this car could be made to be more economical than normal i330

It's an odd car. Sometimes feels fast and other times a bit wanting. It's v fast from a rolling start ie exiting a side road. What it is good at is smooth acceleration thru traffic without much effort from around 50-100kph

For this Money you could buy a new Skoda Octavia RS with 4x4 200hp Diesel engine It is only 1sec slower from 0-100 but Got more space and is cheaper, with The Same top Speed.
But The BMW is still a beautiful Car !

technically it's only a 258BHP, the rest until 292 it's electric only and it doesn't get used much higher in the rev range.

@@MRGianba1310 It’s only 184 hp and besides that you only get such accelerations when your battery is full, but no one who buys this car is going to do launch controls. It’s an efficient and economic family tourer and it does its job pretty decent.
Hybrid makes it heavy. I think 330i is fastee eventhough it has less power
@@Anon-ymous888 I do, it's on charge every night you need that electric motor or your slow as hell my Corsa OPC(VXR) is faster tho on a roll which is sad. You'll get a 5.1s to 62mph(100K's) with TC off no LC tho.

Family car which can do under 6secs to 100Kmh and in many tests closer to 5secs, with a detuned 2.0T. Not a tuned hot hatch? These stage 1 do like 390Hp and RWD 400-430Hp. Because those engines are held back for figures I guess can't make it way faster than a 330i.

@@pardyhouse2767 at 65k€ there is a load of other cars that does a better job. If you're looking into hybrid, you get a3 and peugeot 508 pse and more that i can't list.
I don't think those cars will go 0-60 anywhere near the BMW.
The Peugeot will be significantly cheaper however, especially here in France!
Anyways I don't want to argue, but 0-60 in 5.9 sec is definitely not slow. An e90 335i coupe with six cylinders and 2 turbos does a similar time.
