I've been following her since 2013 and she has always been right there in the mix and doing well. But never really stood out but was really close to being the best of the best. But all of a sudden when the trials approached everyone was like WOW where did this come from. She just exploded and went faster and faster and I knew she had it in her. She deserves every bit of success she has gotten. At 27 are you kidding me ? Its rare for swimmers to peak at that age. Now the world records start to fall and she's just getting started so to speak. Absolutely incredible! Emma please keep swimming.
@@FaresKsebati Emma is fantastic- what a role model to have, how lucky are we 🤗 Worth noting Shane Gould won 5 (. 3 gold, silver and bronze) in Munich 1972 with no relays ie all individual medals
@@casiecase12 idk but in the Australian Trials she swam a close second to Titmus who swam the fastest time in the world at that point. Probably wouldn't have won gold but definitely in contention for a minor medal.
She is so beautiful. Unlike a lot of swimmers who grow so muscular like Ledecky whose muscle is squeezed out her swim suit, Emma looks so slim, tight built, and elegant to watch.
Hell no. First , Manuel's personal bests wouldn't be enough to beat Emma Mckeon at these Olympics. Second, Manuel was not injured , she overtrained and missed the taper badly at trials and couldn't even deliver reasonable times at trials or Olympics. If you have said, healthy Sarah Sjostrom could beat her. I would agree. But not Manuel.
This had no info on how she became it was simply a list of achievements Perhaps retitle it?? To emmas list of achievements Not helpful at all for a young athlete and understanding how you become All the best

She's the epitome of consistency, she progressed slowly but firmly throughout the years, and now she's finally on top of the world.
Emma's my favourite! I knew she'd smash it at tokyo when she set a world record trials. But I never thought of 7!!
Emma's uncle was also an Australian rep swimmer (Rob Woodhouse).
She simply is a great great swimmer. 👏👏👏
Thank you! I reallay like this videos on swimmers and the competitions... great video!

Would liked to have seen Emma and Caleb side by side
Watch the mixed medey relay final...Caleb started a long way behind!
and she is gorgeous...
Could have been 8 medals if she didnt drop the 200m freestyle
What's her PB for the 200 free?

Of course, the most important attribute to get onto the Australian women's swimming team - is perfect teeth ...

@@casiecase12 she is only 24 she Will come back

No, Simone is an amazing swimmer but her personal best in the 50 and the 100 wouldn't be enough to beat Emma in Tokyo.
