Love your passion on the comic elements Tom. I would listen to you talk about them. Have you considered doing a podcast or video segment if you have the time? I know the boardgame element keeps you busy but you are very entertaining in all you talk about and very few people can do that.
This is a fun set in campaign mode to get wrecked by haha. I like it even as a standard game but it’s not one I’d grab to play all the time. Hope is a super strong Hero if you can manage to not KO yourself and have card draw end of turn effects. She kind of feels like an Adam Warlock of this set.
Id like this one better off the villans could be played solo better or if you could take any hero and make them a villan. Just seems like it's missing content, this is not the only expansion I feel that way about.
the two sets I skipped on were Deadpool and this one. While this looks kind of interesting, I wish there was a better theme as I really disliked the entire idea of the phoenix five. Ah well. Don't feel like I'm missing too much here.
I'd feel pretty ripped off if I got this set. Duplicate villains who can't "really" be used separately. First class had a similar feel. As others say, I dont blame CMON for putting this out, I blame people for buying it.

It's 5 villains dude. There is a very easy way to add two random bams to the one you want.
