- This is the RYNG LOW boot from Brunt Workwear. I pull this boot out of the box and wear it for 2 week straight. The first 8 hour day showed that the boot was stiff and needed some break in time. The next day my foot was so sore. But after that initial day it was a lot better. 40 hours in and the boots feel great.

Nice job Seth🎉Great review on the boot and the story behind the company👌Getting my pair of high tops in the gray color in a few days!😃🙌
I should’ve researched this product before ordering. But I do look forward to receiving mine. I don’t mind it not being waterproof. I just need a work shoe for the hot summers.
Great review!
I just ordered a pair, there a nice shoe
I have the Ryng. It is not waterproof. The upper material that they are using soaks up water and caused the top of my foot to become damp. They are comfortable. I'm using a leather conditioner/beeswax mixture for the upper, that should help keep the water from soaking into the upper part of the shoe. I've had them for about 8 months and they are hold up great but I just wish the waterproofing materials were better.
Thank you, I’ll be avoiding this shoe because of your feedback! Working in car washes, these won’t work
@@carwashnews Your welcome. The boot looks cool but the fiber material it's made out of soaks up water. A leather upper would be best for waterproofing.
Just received mine! Let's see how long they last!
I like them! Have spent 3 weeks using them around the house and town.
I work in a seafood department don’t really get my boots wet often… I have a pair of some Irish setters like this with the vibram sole. Ran threw the sole in less than 6months would you recommend these ?
Sadly within one year I ran through the heel on this 1. I was a bit disappointed with the longevity.
Neat shoes, but I don't see the link to the vendor, only the discount code?
Thank you for keeping me in check! The brunt website link has been added.
How to order it in India
called brunt store today asked salesperson about ryng boot, from my previous research i knew hi-top ryng was waterproof the low cut is not waterproof (the one in this review video is called ryng low, not waterproof), the classic ryng (hi-top) is waterproof confirmed from salesperson at brunt store at north reading ma, alot of misinformed commentors out there
Nice. I have the low and it is for sure not waterproof. But the hard toe helps to keep out water when walking in wet grass. Thanks for the confirmation.
I work in theatre and walk around all day on concrete or a hard stage. Does anyone have a similar job that they can have an opinion on how they hold up?
Sadly the heal pads gave out faster than I thought they should.
surprised the low top versions aren't waterproof because the high top versions are stated to be waterproof.
I can definitely say they are not waterproof. I was walking around in the creek for an upcoming water pump review and got wet feet.
@@ToolsTechAndGear The high ones are not waterproof. I posted my comment about it. The upper material they are using soaks up water. I'm using a leather conditioner with beeswax to help keep the water from soaking in overtime.
Break in time. I actually lol'ed.
Has anybody actually worked in these? The hightop boot looks pretty tough but im not sure if it will hold up in my environment...lol, never mind, i didn't know they weren't water proof.
The low version is not waterproof. I have used them to work for a few months and they are nice.
brunt site says ryng classic is waterproof is that a lie and false advertising, this boot has features i'm looking for lightweight, composite toe, and the other features are a bonus, but most important requirement is the waterproof part, i'm boston ma will call shop in n. reading to to inquire ty for review
Hi. I only have the low version. I dont know about the hightop boot.
Boots for $135 reviewing after 3 month? Wear those every day in construction job at least for one year and then do reviewing
But for me enough and you vid . Thanks . Company stated they are waterproof, but they not. So how to believe for the rest ? China
Thanks for watching. I have now used these at least 3 days a week for the past 1.5 months and they have loosened up nicely and have worked well. The low version is not waterproof. The high top boot is waterproof. Not sure why the opted out on the low version because I could have used the waterproof version for sure.
I thought I was buying from an American company, you would think from his ad, he and his "buddies" created boots right here in American...NOPE made in China. Upper material soaks up water.
What watch are you wearing?
An ironman from the 90s.
I work as an industrial maintenance tech in an Automotive plant. These would last days. Hydraulic oil would disintegrate them..
Absolutely NO replacement for Redwing..
🤦🏻♂️ No it would not.. Granted they wouldn't be good for a maintenance man I mean Tech.. but they wouldn't disintegrate, not like your walking around in acid
I'm an industrial maintenance tech too and I wear Skechers steel toe sneakers, they last about a year before they start falling apart so I just buy a new pair every year for $70. How long do the Redwings last?
Absolute garbage my pair lasted 6 months.
Thats about when mine started falling apart. No good.
