“Try to enjoy the world not at the expense of others” Daniel always comes through with the best tips out of nowhere! ✨
😂😂
I'm such a huge fan of Lindsey Shaw just as a fellow human on this earth, honestly. What a gem of a person, truly.
I honestly don’t remember too many Ned’s episodes, however I’m here every Wednesday for the podcast 😂
I would honestly say; you don’t remember each one because its so similar to hanging out with real friends. you dont remember each hang but you know there was many good ones. Just like real life friends. The podcast does a good job of making you feel like you’re at the table with them
I agree, they talk about real shit, especially Lindsey
Daniel and Lindsey are always on the cutest wavelength. Their friendship is great .
Very generous of Lindsey and Devon giving Daniel the main chair in honor of black history month.
💀
😂
Least they can do.
Virtue signaling lmao
Hahahaha
When Daniel said "a lil bit of Fuck Em, goes a long way" I felt that!
"F- em'" - Daniel Curtis Lee, 2024
I ONCE AGAIN feel seen by Lindsey. Honestly, thank you for showing us how growth looks and feels. Remember you're not struggling with Depression; If you're still around; Depression is struggling with you! And you're winning!
Episode 52! A year in and still going strong. Thank you guys for making adult-ing make sense every week!
It doesn't even feel like they've done the pod for a yr. It's crazy it feels that way.
Them going completely off topic in some pods and having pods featuring fan questions getting answered has definitely helped them extend the pod's livelihood, along with the strike being a surprise blessing in that regard. Otherwise, had they stuck with rewatches, they'd be halfway through the entire show right now.
When I went to my middle school reunion, there was one of my bullies there, and he actually took me to the side and wholeheartedly apologized to me for his behavior back then. He did explain why he was like that which was kind of crazy because he wanted to be in a gang and all that, anyways, I really appreciate his apology later on as an adult. You don’t really hear bullies apologize
I like the Cookie Loomer Jacket Daniel representing Loomer during this episode 😂
This pod deserves an Award
At 19:19, for clarifty Daniel I believe you're referencing Don't Be a Menace. the line is "break yourself fool", and proceed to hip thrust as you yell it. Classic movie lmao
...That is a U. S. S. R
Thank you!
Resonated deep with this episode….have a lot of trauma from my childhood that resorted to me taking it out on others and being a terrible person as well as being bullied by other people and yeah that stuff can mess people up…. I struggled with it for a long time and used so many avenues to cope with that pain ie addictions, drugs, terrible relationships, etc….but I forced myself to grow. I’m a way better person now, I think, I treat people with only love and respect and I want to be proud of who I am now but it’s a part of my life I have to live with and look back on and although I can’t go back in time and rewrite it or forget those times when they leave a bitter taste in my mouth, I will use those experiences to educate my kids and treat my kids in a way so that they don’t have to go through anything like what I did.
This is the most therapeutic and reassuring podcast ever
The beginning the pod cast is always a trip 🤣🤣
I definitely understand trying to distinguish the "bullying" you received and "real bullying". Like I don't even like to say I've been bullied, at this point it's more like childhood adversity, like it's stolen valor to me. Cause you hear the stories some people have and you think, "yeah, that's real bullying."
"no had It worse than you" is what you sound like. It's over and done right? Years ago? Idk what badge of valor youre thinking it is but it aint
@ticket2space you might want to reread my comment. I said I don't like saying I've been bullied because it seems like stolen valor. As in, I compare my experience to others, and it seems wrong to say so.
I always say I was teased in school, not bullied.
@@kevinmeeks5169 To me, teasing is a form of bullying. It's a way to bully people in school without getting in trouble. I got teased and picked on a lot and that piled up over time and when I got to my breaking point and those chicken came home to roost...
@@PepsiMan666 Stolen valor at worst.
At best, overlooked victims who were targeted too much and had too few step up and help/sympathize with them because either:
A. It wasn't quite bad enough to warrant stepping up or sympathy
B. They were apathetic
C. They were secretly okay with it
19:57 "It's time to operate"
I'm using this
Simon Nelson Cook with that jacket. Gotta love it.
Today's rewatch - BULLIES
Nat Geo of Bullies was such a hilarious moment of the scene is the way to start.
Anywho, Loomer looks for Ned and Cookie in terms of getting him out to Nebraska (which wasn't the plan at all.) while Moze teams up with Clair Sawyer Future Lawyer for the sake of pure mediation. And of course, you gotta love Gordy about the advice about unleashing Crazy Neddy.
Also, shoutouts to Simon Nelson Cook about the Mop Bucket Slingshot.
At that point in my life, that was the most intersting open I saw to a sitcom
whoever shames or bullies you guys for giving us a pod that you guys take your time to do?? I appreciate it all..every episode y’all give us. Thank you for filling in the gaps to things i had questions too for when i was kid watching the show. Pod is a super unique experience 💙🙏🏼
Immediately became self conscious about my velcro shoes ! 😂
lol fuck em. If you like your velcro shoes, thats all that matters
This was a great episode ! Thank you for always being real and honest with us all ! Sending kindness and love ❤
Needed the last 10 minutes of this pod today. Thank you guys for the insight.
7:40 "it's like a bunch of missiles exchanged" So the episode is just US Heg good and MAD 😂
Lindsay, your honesty is truth, and it may hit ears harshly, but, truth is so needed in this world ❤️ You have helped me by speaking on your experiences
Being from the south, I loved hearing about Daniel being into a fight at school. For some reason when we move people always think we soft just because we at ma'am and sir😂😂😂😂
I don’t why people think southerners are soft, as an Arkansan I can confirm it’s one of the roughest upbringings you can experience lol
@@davidearle7209As oerson who has always lived in the north, I'd always see this and go hey man, you dont mess with that dude, then boom. Laid out
Chip and Kim Fields are legends
I was the kid back in the late 90s that would get bullied by one other kid in our friend group. And then we would all hang out later. We were like 8yro, I never really left when i got bullied, i just took it. Verbal and physical. For the longest time, i wouldnt stand up for myself. Took about 4yrs before i fought back one day after my grand father had a stern talking with me cause my mom would complain to him bot knowing what to do. And it only took the bully 3 seperate attempts and my physical fighting back before he backed off. We never really worked it out and i had moved away eventually in 06. I remember seeing him working at a pizza hut about 10yrs later. We just said hey and moved on. It was sort of refreshing knowing where he ended up. The relatuonagip really never recovered and i still dont really forgive or trust him. But dont hold any hard feelings towards him today.
Daniel saying just how therapeutic this pod is, with Lindsey and Devon agreeing, is how I'm feeling about this pod now: because this pod is also helping me appreciate Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide even more now as an adult from seeing just how raw, real, and honest this pod is
Hi guys!!!!!!! Good to see you guys again as always ❤❤❤

@@AudioGAWD We won't know until they address it. I'm pretty that won't be until March since all of these podcasts are already pre recorded.
@@henselmolina3977 I missed a lot. I have no idea what was or wasn't covered, but thank you 😅
Thank you for this episode
Absolutely love y’all!
The way I look forward to watching every week 💙🎉
The Podcast with Ned, Moze and Cookie aka Devon Lindsey and Daniel is always so cool🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
I needed to hear Lindsey's tip about bringing back to center.
19:25
"Brace yourself fool" is from Friday. The line was from Smokey.
#AndYouKnowThisMan
This pod is awesome
can Lindsey pleaseeee talk more about PLL! I'd love to hear it! The good parts and the bad parts from her experiences!
I really wish there was a way to combat online bullying. Nobody should have to go through that. You never know what someone else is going through.
I'm so down bad for Lindsey
This is the best podcast ever
Needed to hear every word of this ❤
Bullies are we af! Love it. But seriously rolling over Daniel story time 😂😂 childhood is wild.
early hour gang!!
Been catching up to this podcast. I'm still on episode 17.
I love Lindsey's shirt! I have a big ole canvas print of that same image hanging in my room!
Brilliant show
3 stars I watched growing up that I would genuinely love to meet in person. Seem like genuine people!
I gotta get on this show
Daniel is such a cutie! I love how close y’all are, this was one of my favorite childhood shows and I love seeing how y’all are outside of the acting!🩷🩷🩷

Hey Daniel , it’s “break yo self fool!” it’s not brace yourself fool 😂 and it’s from Friday
A friend of mine in college had shoes that velcro. Our friend group could not stop laughing about it. We started calling him kindergarten 😂 And it's not a mood killer before sex, but that insane sound of a grown man un-velcroing their shoes does make you both stop and laugh hard and long enough that you have to work yourselves back into the right head space😏
When are we getting updates on the baby Ned post? 🤨
BRACE YOSELF FOO. Friday. Don’t be a Menace in South Central, is where I heard those phrases from
Y'all probably won't read this, but I grew up watching your show. All of you are incredible people. Keep grinding. I hope you get way more subscribers. And "f#%+ 'em" to all your haters
The bully topic - The whole time I kept thinking about my one friend. She was making fun of one of my guys friends. Really laying into him, I think trying to get under his skin. And he showed no emotion, no response. And she started to feel bad and was like, "Why don't you just say this." And started to make fun of herself and her insecurities. And then she started to cry because she made herself so upset from what she was saying about herself.
It really is your own mindset that is after you haha!
33:10 dont feel like that bro we love you man
Gosh Lindsey is just on this unhinged energy and I love it
I qas bullied way more at home than I was at school and we need a new show like Neds to cover that
crazy ned was insane lol
Love the Nederland shout out ❤
Daniel served a can of whoop @$$ 😂 i remember being the new kid in thr 6th grade and went into public school for the first time. I was a christian private school kid and got bullied 2 weeks after I started. When the two big bullies if the school called me the n-word. They got a deadbeat of a life time from with the powers of God and anime😂
Hop skip to 7th grade, one of the bullies, Shelby, became my best friend 😂😂
That ending, facts.
"is it internalize misogyny if i don't remember her?" so real...... so so real
Best tip yet 🤣🤣🤣
Devon.... big dog. Keep in mind talking about your old show on a podcast that is literally for the fans of your old show. Is in no way cringy. Like you said peoole think they are too cool. The coolest people ive ever met are the ones that just go for it. They dont think about being cool, they just do themselves. You guys got it going on. Fuck the haters.
Fuck em 45:55
19:20 SUPERBAD MCLOVIN
Speaking of bullies, I never been bullied in my life, except somewhere in high school. Nowadays, I don't know what he's up to nowadays. Here's a story
This guy I've known, since middle school, he's really changed growing up since I've known him
He was first a cool funny little dude in middle school, then he became a huge douche in high school, thinking he's cool and trying to show off, he even called me names. Nowadays, I don't know what he's up to since I haven't seen him around.
OMG!!! GUYS!! You were my childhood!
Daniel went full A Christmas Story 😂
Takes notes: Fuck em
Daniel moving to Cali from the south, running into a gang in elementary school, and beats up the gang. Legendary.
14:38 - 15:09
It never got dangerous or highly detrimental, but with me, I was picked on somewhat regularly and while me and my peers were friends, the friendships weren't at the point where they invited me along to things outside of school and sporting events. They didn't tag me along in many things outside of school and outside of the rare instances they did, the only time I was with any of them was if I ran into one of them somewhere in town (i.e. Walmart, one of the restaurants, the gym).
Plus, the teasing and bullying can eventually catch up to those picking on you overtime. With I went through growing up, no one will convince me that teasing isn't a form of bullying. To me, it's a way to bully someone and get away with it.
The pile just kept growing and by my junior yr, I was at my breaking point. Too many were picking on me and too few were standing up for me. I was tired of being picked on and I was starting to think of myself as an outcast. I had come to the painful realization we all experience in that my friends didn't think as highly of me as I did of them. That was when I started responding back to those messing with me and start jumping on them on a regular basis, even going so far as to making threats against them so they'd back off and leave me alone. I ended up developing anger problems and they used that as a way to pick on me. They ripped on me for being a Patriots fan on a regular basis during my senior yr and I felt persecuted. One morning when I was leaving my house to go to school, I initially thought someone wrote "Patriots suck" on one of my car window. Luckily, that wasn't the case and it was something I actually got a kick out of (and then I was ripped on over the 4th and 2 game later that morning). It was so bad and I was so scarred, when a Patriots jersey had yet to arrive at my house for my birthday and I came back to my house to see my mailbox open and empty, I initially thought one of them stole the jersey (this was a yr after graduating HS). Ultimately, when the jersey was ordered, it was sent to the post office and I picked it up there the next day.
My strategy of going after them didn't work in the short term (2nd half of HS), but it worked in the long term. I had some FB friends go after me over political differences on a few of occasions during the past decade plus, but none of them were people I knew in HS. By then, they finally understood what would happen if they crossed any lines with me.
Daniel is spot on about finding the right tribe. Sometimes, you might have to look outside your hometown to find it. With me, I didn't truly find my tribe until college when I became a part of Chi Alpha (campus ministry). I didn't have to put up with the garbage I had to deal with during HS and earlier once I was with the new tribe. I was treated the way I wanted to be treated and I felt much more appreciated and valued.
I got a warmer welcome from them whenever I visited after college than I did with my HS friends after HS. Also, I've been invited to more weddings involving college friends than those involving HS friends. Of the roughly dozen guys I was with regularly during HS, I was only invited to 2 of their weddings (though a couple of them were family only). Take away the weddings involving relatives and children of family friends and the gap is even bigger. That shows which group valued me and which group didn't.
34:29 so true man
Noise is the death of sex. -Devon Werkheiser
Best response I feel would be
"You right." What do the bullies say after that? If you already act torn down, they can't tear you down. Just take there fun away
Week 12 no Adam hicks pod
Daniel's so sweet worrying about hurting feelings.
100% even when it's positive experiences, I try not to use names unless I have explicit consent to share from the other person. A lot of people think I am too tight about this but like... I don't know. It has nothing to do with reputation or privacy, it's just nice to treat people's names with respect I guess? I would want people to do the same for me.
Easily one of my favorite podcasts! These episodes go by way too fast 🥲 I need a 4 hour podcast I can listen to while at work. Love you guys!
