I hate the media. Luka has been doing all this greatness since his rookie year. A few months ago he scored 73points triple double while shooting 75% from the field. The media ignored it and came up to with a narrative about bad defense in the NBA. Smdh!

If Luka wins the chip, he definitely has a case for the best player. And winning the chip makes it easier for him to win MVP next season...they will give it to him since he has been in the top 3 or 5 finalists last 3 seasons.
Luka and jokic are the two best players. They have two different styles but the results are pretty much the same when it comes down to points assists and rebounds. Watching the american media having to admit that luka is the man and that jokic is the man while they burn deep inside and hate having to do it is magical.

ESPN seems to think Kristaps Porzinģis is the secret weapon. At what stage of his career did people get the feeling he's going to step up on the biggest stage? Rim protection? 28-footers? If the Celtics are relying on him to stop Lively and Gafford hopping around like jack rabbits on steroids, or consistently knocking down logo 3s, then they're in trouble.

A year ago before the BS they tried to crown Ja as the new face of the NBA now that Lebron is in his twilight years. This season they tried to crown Edwards. Luka has been 1st all nba team since his 2nd year. He shouldve won the most improved player in his 2nd year, compared to Brandon Ingram's leap from the previous year. All the teams that he lost to in the playoffs were a team of vets (Clippers, GSW). And not once did they crown him as the face of the league. He averaged 34 9 9 with an incomplete team for most of the season and they aint give him the mvp. The media really hates Luka. Only real hoopers like Bron and Iverson love Luka. The media actually hates him.

I got Luka over jokic by a hair only because lukas aura is insane. I know it’s not based on stats but his ability to impose fear and demoralize a team is ridiculous. Boston have a better starting 5 but they live and die by the 3 , Mavs can win without shooting well from the 3 , KP's length helps , offensively he is dangerous too but he not guarding lob threats , Lively and Gafford are feasting , especially when KP is off the floor . Lukai average 51 points and 13 assists this post season , that's 2 players being directly accountable for at least 77 points if all their assists are 2's , Mavs are top 3 best defensive teams since they put this team together . the match up is closer than you think .

Luka as a 6 year vet playing nearly 38 MPG is averaging 33.5 PPG so tell me how can Wemby in 5 more years not be at least as good as that if not better. Wemby offense to Luka offense is going to be close but defensively Wemby is always going to be milies better than Luka on that end no way around that. Wemby can be a player that can average at least 36 PPG 15 RPG 7 APG 2 SPG and 5 BPG in his peak those numbers is not normal and will just make Luka stats look like a joke when you put that up against Wemby.
