I love this dude's energy and passion... I upgraded my setup a couple years ago with Sony A80J OLED and Sony Soundbar and Sub... I bought the Forest cable to plug into to my apple tx 4k box.. significant upgrade,... Plan to eventually upgrade to carbon cable and a premium one for E-ARC to soundbar.
I use a PC for gaming on an LG OLED C2. As soon as I switched to audioquest 48 HDMI my games look noticably brighter and the colors are more vibrant and the games run smoother.
@@antigravityfrequencies7416 because he did it wrong. He’s comparing a 48Gbps cable to a 18Gbps cable. The audio quest cable was a total waste of money 😂
Damn, 20% of the budget is a lot to put aside for hdmi cables as someone who sells tvs and av setups. Unless a client wants to do a component audio setup, i find it difficult to get customers to even spend 30% of their budget on the sound much less the cables. Like unless theyre running a setup with a receiver, they usually wont go above an 8k 48gb cable for console gaming to ensure they can play games in 4k at 120hz.
I am looking at the forest ones and the cinnamon. I am thinking of using 2 forest for my ps5 and my apple tv and 2 cinnamon for my PC (hdr) and uhd player. P.S i am really looking for a comparison of 3 dufferent types of cable from audioquest. The cinnamon one, audioquest 48Q pearl and the forest 48Q.. well is the forest 48Q just the same as 48Q pearl?
Its hard to say because cable length is a big factor in price as well, and I am not sure how close you plan on having these sources plugged in. It just depends on what you spend the most time doing.
@WaltsTV hi there. The 1.5 meter or 2m at longest are length i need . So not terribly long. Also I can't get 4k hdr from my ps5 through my sony avr ( str dn1080) I either got to select 1080p on the ps5 to get hdr or 4k without hdr. Couldn't get both for some mad reason. So I am using an ezcoo HITECH hdmi splitter and it works a charm the 4k hdr ( the hdmi cables I am using at present are belkin dolby vision approved.) I do have audioquest cables from my uhd player to my avr but they are just the pearl 48 ones. I don't think the spec says they are hdmi 2.1. But the forest 48 ones on the audioquest site in the spec says hdmi 2.1. But did notice in video was mentioned that all the cables should give it. I am getting it from my uhd player but suspecting it may be better with the forest ones. I know the cinnamon ones are better but considering how many cables I need (I have 5 devices) I think the forest ones will do. P.s devices i have...Apple tv box. An Xbox one x, a pc , a uhd player and a ps5. Thanks!
@WaltsTV p.s sorry meant to mention. The reason I mentioned the splitter. I can't help wonder whether that splitter would affect the quality of the cables, i reckon that will probably be a difficult question to answer. I only use the splitter for the 2 games consoles.
I run a 9ch high-performance Atmos setup, and I just want to say the more cables I shield, the quieter my room becomes. If one wishes to hear results, I would suggest.. analogue cables of length are best to address first (heights and surrounds) after speaker cables, then RCA's. And then digital and power cables. In fact, the last group of cables I shielded were my HDMI's, and Lo behold the room became slightly quieter yet again.
So I’ve done quite a bit of research regarding hdmi 2.1 cables and you guys are saying the same exact pitch Best Buy says silver content silver content so Linus I’m sure you’re aware of his millions of followers has every reason to pitch these things and could make big bucks so why did he run test on all these expensive cables and not only find some of them don’t meet 2.1 standards but make no difference what so ever regarding price or brand simply explaining that it either works or doesn’t anything in between is snake oil salesmen bs I’m assuming you work for some electronics store in fact I have read article after article that these cords have nothing different other than putting a ton of actual silver in them that way when they get sued they can say the price is due to the amount of silver or copper but I used 12 dollar cords and I bought those really neat thick looking ricketfish cables at 60 a pop and there is absolutely no difference and even if there are some of these minute differences with the actual science based test ran in these how people should be outraged there are 300 all the way up to 4k for an hdmi cord? Come on man get real and stop ripping people off put a test out to prove me wrong I’m going to go with Linus ion this one as he ran every test possible on these and could not find anything to suggest any type of difference between a certified 12 dollar hdmi 2.1 cord compared to the multiple hundred dollar and so forth cables please put some data out to prove me wrong
i mean this is all great, but I heard it with my own ears. The difference is not believable without a side by side comparison. And believe me I understand everything feels like snake oil but it really comes down to how much you care about the overall experience. And nobody is forcing you to buy an additional cable. The reason the manufacture doesn't do anything about it is because they use extremely cheap cables and dont want to spend any more money including something a little nice.
@@WaltsTV Both HDMI audio and video signals are digital, there's no improving it. The data either gets to the other side intact or it doesn't, so saying you can compare it it's just BS. The fact you "sell" this on all other videos just make it hard to believe your word in any review...
4000$ for a cord lol come on man that’s a top of the line tv at 77 inch and that’s what do you know a Lgg4 which is looking to be 2024 tv if the year so what tv is this 4k cord for? When the best tv in the world is 4599$. ? Anyways I’ll put a a video out before and after these cord purchases
Yes analog I woukdbe believed you guys could make better cords but this is nothing more than a digital signal transfer your basically telling me and I think you guys do sell a crazy high Ethernet cord but the Ethernet cord makes the computer picture look better not yes there different types like cat 5 and cat 6 but again just a digital signal I’ve seen plenty of videos on your 1500 dollar diamond cord and there was absolutely no difference from the 15 dollar cord I wouldn’t ride you guys so hard but I’ve seen a lot if ridiculous prices on things but what your selling at 1500 dollar cords there is no way you can tell me there a 1485 dollar difference in quality
For 4k that cord better open a portal where I can jump into the tv and be in the movie and please name the place and time you can show me side by side comparison I’ll be there I don’t care where it is
Thats a question for them, I just know when I did the training I could and everyone around me really hear a difference when they showed the difference between cables and power. Less noise made the soundstage, distortion, range I mean literally everything improved dramatically. But thats just my experience.
@@WaltsTV😂😂😂 no you couldn’t. Compared to a cable with the same specs but only $20, there is ZERO difference. Please stop lying. Especially with your conflict of interest. You guys are either incredibly ignorant or snake oil salesman intentionally lying.

it really depends on the setup. And honestly power conditioning and reducing the noise there first might be enough for alot of people.

On my JBL 1000 system would using a hdmi cable be better then using a ARC cable for audio?
An ARC cable is the same thing as an HDMI cable. You just want to make sure its a quality cable.
