What a wonderful Final and I so wanted John and JoJo to win!!! I won't remember all of Rose's dances but I will remember every single one of John and JoJo's as they were all beautiful and some took my breath away with their intensity, sensuality and sheer artistry. Love you BOTH for raising awareness and giving visibility to the LGBTQ+ community and being brave enough to do so...that took courage.

I’m so glad they finally got the perfect score they deserved in the end. It’s been truly inspiring watching their performances throughout the series and this was a fitting conclusion to that.
In a way it’s a shame John and Rose were in the same series, as I can see them both winning in any other year. Both outstanding dancers.

I wish they could’ve won, but unfortunately the Audience of strictly includes a lot of homophobes. That’s probably the main reason rose won. Cos she danced with a man as a woman

They were the winners in my mind.
You know what, Rose may of won, but I will remember John as an equal winner to Rose. After doing their favourite dances each, they both could of taken it home. But it was going to be Rose ever since her couples choice. But to me, team JoJo are equal to them. But then the did their showdances. A fairytale tragedy mash up vs a symbolic story both portrayed by dance. I had to go with the later dance. Every one of my votes went to John and Johannes even though I knew they wouldn't beat Rose and Gio. But, what happened is what happened. You didn't win the trophy John, but you earned a place in strictly come dancing history and my memory. Especially with that paso doble.

I am preparing for a ballroom competition and my instructor and I are close in height just like the two of you. So, I was watching your dances (especially Standard) very closely - I am still polishing the areas where I do not compress and lower enough and end up towering above him. Happy dancing!!!

I was disappointed with rose’s show dance but John made up for with his show dance. All in all they pulled out all the stops. They are champions!

Me too...they were by far the BETTER dancers and they were the HIGHEST scorers of this series!!! Definitely robbed of the Glitter Ball!!!
@@janey1133 they were not robbed, rose did not end up in the dance off and jo anus only ended up in the final because the judges saved them. rose won it and the public prefered her.

I am gonna put this here.Maybe it won't be erased.This is the first year I've watched Strictly and as I caught up the seasons (we say seasons here in the states not series,but I'm not snapping),I fell in love with the two J's and Rose and Gio.I rooted for you four all the way.I'm so glad one of my couples got it.
John and JoJo,you have done an extraordinary job,not just dancing but representing your community.I heard John saying so many times he would collapse as he walked in the door.I am so proud of you and your accomplishments.
You and Joe and Rose and Giovanni have been such role models in the deaf and gay communities.I love you all for that.
I know you'll go on to enter another championship somewhere,lol.And I wish you all the best in that and in everything you do.

They made history by being the first same sex couple (and not bringing sexuality into it, please!) to be in the FINAL of Strictly!!! They had the highest scores of the series and danced beautifully...FACT!!!!
I think they would've gone farther if craig would have given them those 10s.

John Whaite (the white guy) is a tv host for a cooking show and a former winner of The Great British Bake Off
Johannes Radebe (the black guy) is a professional dancer from South Africa

Focus on the good. A huge amount of not only acceptance, but respect and admiration around.
I agree with you fourmarys...it would be a tad too far for a male couple (Heaven forbid they're both gay) to win...the British public just couldn't allow that to happen because there is still a great deal of hatred and bigotry in the world.
Taboos will always exist, but this time they had nothing to do with the final's results. The best and the favorite celebrity won! John Whaite is incredibly talented and a very popular baker/celebrity, however, let's not forget that he (accidentally) dropped partner Johannes at the end of their Salsa dance and in my opinion he was really lucky to have made the Final !
@@mp-rn6lb that drop was just that...one drop...out of all the dances they both did, John and JoJo got into the Final on merit due to their talent and artistry together on the dance floor. They didn't make it to the Final because of luck...but we beg to differ and that's okay!
John is a nice bloke and a great dancer. I certainly have no hate for him, but the fact is that Rose was, and is, more lovable to the wider public.
Even though John didn't win he's going to become a millionaire thanks to endorsements, books, tv presenting and west end shows. Coming second is sometimes better than winning!
Fourmarys he's already a millionaire several times over!!! He has his own cookery school and has published several cookery books and earnt money by appearing on television programmes like This Morning's cookery slots.

she won because she was very good and had to work harder with her disability. the two homosexuals were put into the dance off and had to be saved by the judges, but the voting viewers backed rose over them. regards the dark knight,

What happened with the choreo for the last dance? It wasn't up to the standard of the preceding dances. Costumes also didn't help. Shame. I think they could have showcased something much stronger for the last dance as they clearly can both dance beautifully.
The show dances are choreographed by a professional choreographer.

There was a lot of gesturing and stance in Johannes and John's dancing, while the other couple danced.
she hardly had her feet on the ground in her show dance. All waft and lifts. She's a grand lass and did amazingly but that showdance was meh.
