Just adding my two cents: passing this song almost sent me to the hospital. I felt like I got punched in the temple. It's only a 19 because we dont have enough 17+ charts to warrant a new difficulty, but if/when we do, you can definitely expect this to go up.
PARANOiA, Trip Machine, and Max = The 3 Musketeers Egoism 440 and Valkyrie Dimension = King and Queen Over the "Period" = God Endymion = The God Destroyer
This is the new hardest chart in DDR and it beat Elemental Creation's previous stepcount record. Also it just put Valkyrie Dimension to shame IMO.....And Over The "Period" too.
That's because literally only two people bothered to grind this out and it costs like $10 USD and takes an hour to get max heat power, even assuming that you are the only one playing. Every other top ranker sans Brosoni and Fefemz didn't bother because they all said that playing a 19 that they don't even know the full chart of on life 4 once every eight rounds was retarded.
After over a year of trying on and off, I finally passed this yesterday. And then one-shot lachryma and breaking the future for the lamp. This is by far the hardest singles chart in the game, and does not let up. So happy it's over
Bloodlustalucard actually, fungah was second to clear the esp. Also, there’s a big distinction to be made between unlocking and clearing. It still takes a shit ton of time to reach Endymion. Unlocking it is far off.
@@fergosan2009 there are only 6 19s on SP, and the scoring difficulty list does not skip decimals. This is just the hardest among those 6. If there were 20 different 19s, expect this to still hold the top...
It's not a Valve only problem, Capcom did it too with Capcom vs SNK2, Andamiro did it too with Pump It Up Prime 2, Konami did it too with DDR Supernova 2, Electronic Arts did it too with Need For Speed Underground 2, etc. Usually, the sequels are made to improve the flaws or expand from the prequels, which is most likely why they won't go beyond 2 unless they want to revive their many years old series or sub-series. As for the 20 difficulty rating, they probably save it for latter and see how the pro players perform in the current hardest charts. I still think the difficulty rating gap is still significant, especially if you play Pump It Up as their 19s are nowhere as hard as DDR 19s, while the 15s are both even.
Even with the release of MAX 360 and Lachryma, this is still by far the hardest Singles DDR chart at the moment. 360's 12ths, 16ths and 1000 stepcount aren't too bad since the actual rhetoric is still cohesive. Lachryma's generous freeze breaks and lack of BPM changes and stops slightly bring down its otherwise bizarre mix of 12th Scoobies, jump spamming and scrambly 16th streams at 236 BPM. Endymion is Hell-on-Earth from beginning to end. Being technically slower than Lachryma doesn't mean much when the BPM range is so extreme, the sync is all over the place and the rhetoric itself takes every DDR tech known to man and ramps them up so dramatically. For crying out loud, it's still the only 19 with neither a AAA nor a Full Combo! At least one of these has been accomplished on every other 19.

They gave it their best shot, but it seems that official 20s are kind of hard to make I'm assuming they don't want to make a 20 out of a song from one of their other rhythm games.
Konami's overcharted a 19 to hell and back then. 925 notes with those jumpjacks at the end, not to mention the 16th streams all throughout. Screw all of that if that's meant to be a 19.
I gotta say, having the clap, whenever the arrows are stomped really helps us audience members feel the difficulty of this song. You really put effort into this, I can tell. This seems like a no bull, transparent channel. Love it.
