    Dude, your picking hand is always something to behold.
    After seeing a couple of demos of this pedal, it seems like a pretty cool solution for a small rig, still getting good tones and a little bit of flexibility throughout.

    You never fail to impress. Your charismatic style of playing, really helps push the pedal to its true potential. You're total inspiration to alot of people. As far as the pedal is concerned,, I'm looking to get one in the near future. There's alot of sound in that small box. And the other two Keeley pedals I have are top knotch. Great video.

    Drive too fizzy for my taste.
    Reverb is nice & vintage delays. But the drive sounds cheap IMO.

    • @RobertKeeleyTV
      @RobertKeeleyTV 5 років тому +1

      Great Question! The line out will sound pretty darn good because of the reverb or delay to wet things up! I'd use a pre-amp designed for bringing your guitar signal to line level. Maybe something with a balanced line out. But, the DDR should be great going into a PA.

    Been watching vids to see how to use the insert function but people keep calling mode two of the OD a TS. Had mine for three days and respectfully but strongly disagree. Mode one is slightly scoopy and two is fuller in the mids but no abrupt hump. Also unlike my two "green" types it's great on a clean amp. Fantastic pedal.

    Great demo and very pleasant various playing. Back to your question I do have collection of specific pedals for specific sounds monitored through a programmable looper. But this Keeley DDR is very clever and I found his stuff very valuable lately: you can make your board significantly lighter with this one. My only concern would be the capability to put additionnal effects between drive and wet section of the pedal (i.e a tremolo pedal before the reverb). It make me thinking this one can be used alone only. But great product for sure!

    • @JayLeonardJ
      @JayLeonardJ  5 років тому +2

      There is a TRS insert built into the pedal, so you can add any effects you want in-between the gain and wet section with no issues whatsoever :)

    Yet another fantastic demo Jay, knowing how important an amp is and you can’t get Goodsell in uk plus they are expensive, what would be a good recommendation for a first amp, secondhand Blues JNR or hot rod deluxe? I have a Squire strat with a Hotrails at the bridge. I think this pedal could replace a couple of pedals on most people’s boards. You are a rhythmic machine though, so awesome 👏🏼
