Did you really watch the Notre Dame game? That was the first time in his USC career that he faced a near-NFL quality defense run by a NFL defensive coach, Al Golden. And Caleb was HORRIBLE. And he had a series of average games thereafter. I say he's Mr. Overrated.
I did see it and he didn't play well. He does have the talent to be the guy though. I would take him just based on he has a much higher upside than any other QB. Definitely could be wrong though. Thanks for watching!
While the ND game was horrible, I will say that at least 1 of the interceptions was on the WR changing his route at the top, another was on the sideline WR drifting back causing the DB to get into the passing lane. The sideline int should not have been thrown and that is on Caleb but the crossing route int was on the WR for changing his route from where Caleb was expecting him to be. ua-cam.com/video/BtVj2Bv64gc/v-deo.htmlsi=1smZVF71VjZ2KPJF&t=629 explains it perfectly. Caleb much like Patrick Mahomes will HAVE TO learn to take the check down in the NFL.
Every Utah defense he faced was better than that ND defense. Stop exaggerating. Also, while Caleb was not good in the ND game, the OL was atrocious all night and gave him no chance to get any rhythm going. That was one of those games that was a perfect storm of mistakes by everyone on the SC offense and he has a lot more film that looks nothing like that game did. If you think that game should define him, that's willful ignorance on your part.
Idk who youre talking to, but noone thinks he’ll bust. Every year we talk about the quarterback who goes first overall might bust, but this is the one year we are not talking about that. Like he said, Williams is clearly no doubt the QB1 of this draft
Not saying they should be taken to heart, but in any comment section you will see a lot of people talking about him being a bust, in a lot of conversations people think he will be a bust, I honestly think most of the public does think he will not be good
Man if you take the time you could find most of these same clips from Justin Fields in college. We just dont know how these things will pan out. I say keep Justin and build the team
Fields is a more linear athlete and is a bit clunkier meaning he's slower in his release, footwork, and reads. Williams has slower longspeed but is quicker in short areas and has significantly more football awareness. They're not as similar as a lot of people think
His backup threw 6 TDS in the bowl game
Hell yea!!! Let’s goooooo!
Interested in seeing his hand size and his 3 cone. I think the college ball can be slightly smaller
Very true. Does seem like he is holding it odd at times.
kyler murray & aaron rodgers are great comps
Thanks for watching!

Great points!

Did you watch MHJ get completely bottled up and manhandled against ND? Mr. Overrated obviously too.
Ngl I think this is the only time where majority of the public believes he’ll be a bust

@@eliwerner2951 sounds like people trying to force a narrative

Not a bad thought. Thanks for watching!
